Our Horse Racing Tips Staking Plan
Each selection we advised is a bet of £10 win single per horse. This is unless it is otherwise stated that is should be a £5 each way bet.
Do be aware that betting on horse racing is difficult to win consistently. Previous performance is no guarantee of future success, and you should only bet with what you can afford to lose. Check out their best bets for today below.

Horse Racing Betting Tips
Tip 1 - 1:15 Southwell - Harrys Hope
Harrys Hope makes her debut for Matt Crawley today having left Ben Pauling on the back of four solid handicap efforts this season. Her form figures of 4242 indicate that she’s handicapped about right, but there’s hope that the change of scenery could unlock some improvement. This is her optimum trip-and-ground combination, and with a handful of today’s rivals returning from a break with fitness to prove, she looks set to run a big race at a decent price.

Tip 2 - 3:00 Plumpton - Alien Storm
We’re hoping that Alien Storm's reappearance after 105 days off was just what was needed. It almost certainly was as it was back hurdling, which he has a much worse record at. Chasing and back at Plumpton, his chances will improve immeasurably. He has four career wins at the track, and if taking to the unknown of a longer distance, he should enjoy himself.

Tip 3 - 3:15 Southwell - Dartmouth Rose
Dartmouth Rose capped off an impressive jumps season in May with a hat-trick by winning a 3m handicap hurdle at Fakenham, taking her career hurdles record to four wins, two seconds and two thirds from 13 runs. She’s up 4lbs for that victory, but given she took heftier rating increases in her stride during that hat trick run, going from 81 at the start to now 96 today, it should be no problem here.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
Where Can I Watch the Daily Horse Racing Selections Run?
The best place is always on the racecourse but that’s not very practical so when it’s not on terrestrial TV with the likes of Sky Sports Racing and ITV (or ITV 4) then the best way to get instant access to live pictures is with a live streaming bookmaker – try these three below for the best of the bunch. We've also got a page specifically dedicated to Cheltenham Festival live streaming.
