Tip 1 - 1:45 Haydock - Tribal Queen
With William Buick serving a whip ban Oisin Murphy has picked up a good looking ride for the opener on the card. The very well bred Tribal Queen makes her racecourse debut, and considering the standard of some of the horses she is closely related to the level of form shown by her opponents in this is nothing to be worried about. If she is ready for this she will take some catching.

Tip 4 - 3:42 Goodwood - Amora Queen
The early evidence for Amora Queen would suggest she is good but not quite elite. Her record when running in races below Listed/Group level is 112, and her record in the spheres above have seen her finish dead last twice. Back in the calmer waters of a Class 3 here, she should give a pretty good account of herself. Testing her stamina the furthest it has been on slower than good-to-firm-ground are question marks but worth a gamble.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
