Tip 2 - 3:05 Ascot - Heyzoom
Heyzoom finally got on the board on his third attempt last time out with victory at Newbury after a couple of near misses in his previous runs. Tip 3 - 4:15 Ascot - Al Riffa
Despite not being guaranteed to stay this trip on his first attempt at it, plenty of Al Riffa’s form gives him a massive chance. Since his comfortable win in the Irish St. Leger last season with solid efforts in the Melbourne Cup and a Longchamp Group 1 - each over two miles, where he was held up early and was staying on at the finish. What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
