We all know those immortal words ‘I’m dreaming of a white Christmas, just like the ones we used to know’ from Bing Crosby, and most people still hold that sentiment dear to their hearts. White Christmas Free Bets 2024

As with many things in the UK, there appears to be something of a north/south divide when it comes to whether snow falls after Father Christmas has been down the chimney to drop some presents off or not. Indeed, between the years of 1960 and 2016 the south-east/south had just 10 years where snow fell on Christmas Day, while in the north-east/north, there were 24 years of white Christmases. In that same time period, northern Scotland saw 34 years of waking up to a White Christmas. Therefore, it should come as no surprise to see the north of the UK dominate the odds on which city will see snow this year.

According to the Met Office, since 1960 just over half of the years on record has seen at least some snow somewhere in the UK. Odds on a White Christmas 2024

Lots of Apple Pay betting sites and Trustly betting sites have odds available on whether snow will fall at specific airports dotted around the UK. Suffice to say, the more northerly the airport the shorter the odds for snow to fall, which means there could be some real value to be had on places that perhaps haven’t seen snow for a while.
