Another thrilling Week 1 of college football betting is in the books, with plenty of crazy upsets and game-winning drives along the way.

Defending national champion Georgia made the biggest statement with a 49-3 beatdown and cover over Oregon in Atlanta, while Ohio State struggled in its home opener before pulling away for a 21-10 win over Notre Dame – a no-sweat cover for the Irish at +17 on betting sites

Florida also clipped Utah down the stretch for the cover and outright 29-26 win at The Swamp, one of many electric nonconference matchups that delivered on opening weekend. We’re expecting more of the same, with another loaded slate for college football week 2 odds action.

No. 1 Alabama heads to Texas as a -20.5 favorite on betting apps, while Kentucky heads to Florida to take on a hot Gators team that opens as a -5.5 favorite. We also have No. 10 Baylor facing No. 25 BYU in Utah, with the Cougars favored by -4 in the nightcap of what should be another thrilling day across the board.

Alabama at Texas, Sept. 10, 12 p.m. ET

These two powerhouse programs are set to play for the first time since 2010, when Alabama scored a 37-21 win in the BCS title game. The Crimson Tide didn’t have any drama in a 55-0 shutout win over Utah State in the opener last week. Now Alabama is set to face an unranked Texas team coming off a 52-10 win over UL Monroe in the home opener. The college football week 2 odds opened with the Crimson Tide as significant favorites (-17.5).

The line has since moved three more points in Alabama's favor, and we're jumping on before the line hits three touchdowns. Consider us skeptical of Texas to say the least.

Best Bet: Alabama -20.5 at DraftKings

Tennessee at Pittsburgh, Sept. 10, 3:30 p.m. ET

Pittsburgh survived a slugfest in the backyard brawl with West Virginia, though it couldn’t secure a cover in a 38-31 thriller. Tennessee covered easily in a 59-10 win over Ball State, and this one has shootout written all over it as well, with the college football week 2 Over/Under total opening at 63.5.

It wasn't pretty, but we were impressed with the Panthers' toughness in Week 1 and Tennessee will be in for a serious road test.

Best Bet: Pittsburgh +6.5

Washington State at Wisconsin, Sept. 10, 3:30 p.m. ET

It was business as usual for Wisconsin in a 38-0 home win over Illinois State, with the defense looking stout once again at Camp Randall Stadium. The Badgers are now two-score favorites, according to the CFB week 2 odds, as they prepare for a Washington State team coming off a 24-17 win over Idaho.

The Cougars had a lot of success on defense last week, but a one-score win over a team like Idaho is concerning and this should be a big mismatch in the trenches. The Badgers might not be the most entertaining team in the country, but we're confident they'll muscle their way to a cover this weekend.

Best Bet: Wisconsin -17.5

Iowa State at Iowa, Sept. 10, 4 p.m. ET

Iowa’s 7-3 victory over South Dakota State, in which the Hawkeyes failed to score a single touchdown, took a little bit of shine off this interstate rivalry. But this is always one of the most heated and hard-fought games of the year regardless of outlook, and the Cyclones will have a big chip on the shoulder as underdogs coming off a 42-10 victory over Southeast Missouri.

The books aren't backing off Iowa as a -3.5 favorite, despite the absolutely terrible offensive performance we witnessed last week. This is almost always a competitive matchup, but we don't see the Cyclones moving the ball and the Hawkeyes will improve enough to get the home cover.

Best Bet: Iowa -3.5

Kentucky at Florida, Sept. 10, 7 p.m. ET

This is an extremely enticing early-season SEC matchup which should see plenty of wagering action. The Gators just pulled off the upset win over Utah in a comeback thriller and now have momentum under first-year coach Billy Napier. But the Wildcats have been frisky for a few years now and look prepared for a close battle after a solid 37-13 Week 1 win over Miami (Ohio). The latest college football week 2 odds have Florida as a -5.5 to -4.5 favorite.

The Wildcats figure to test this Florida secondary more often than Utah did, and the offense looks very dangerous again with Virginia Tech transfer receiver Tayvion Robinson racking up 136 yards on six catches in the opener. Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson is one of the best in the country, but Kentucky has a standout group of linebackers that should keep him relatively contained.

Best Bet: Kentucky +4.5

Arizona State at Oklahoma State, Sept. 10, 7:30 p.m. ET

Herm Edwards’ seat might be getting warm due to all the off-field drama, but it was all business last weekend in a 40-3 win over Northern Arizona. This is a huge chance for the Sun Devils to prove a point as big road underdogs, and Oklahoma State wasn’t exactly razor-sharp in a 58-44 win over Central Michigan in which the Cowboys were outscored 22-7 in the fourth quarter.

Things got weird down the stretch in the opener, but the Cowboys were in control of the game and should be far more disciplined on defense this week. We're confident this will be an even better effort from Oklahoma State, one that results in a cover.

Best Bet: Oklahoma State -11

USC at Stanford, Sept. 10, 7:30 p.m. ET

A classic west coast rivalry kicks off once more with the Trojans favored by more than a touchdown after a blowout win over Rice in the opener. Stanford has fallen on hard times in recent years and David Shaw’s tenure could be in jeopardy, though an upset win here would get the Cardinal to 2-0 and build a lot of good faith early in the season.

The Week 2 college football betting line continues to fall and we're just fine with that on the Trojan side. We aren't expecting much from Stanford this season and a blowout win over Colgate doesn't change anything.

Best Bet: USC -8.5

Baylor at BYU, Sept. 10, 10:15 p.m. ET

Another big-time top-25 matchup sees us through the night, with BYU a slight home favorite over the Bears, according to the latest college football week 2 spreads. Baylor’s offense looked as efficient as ever in a 69-10 win over Albany, but this BYU defense is obviously a different challenge and the Cougars looked impressive in a 50-21 win at South Florida to start the year.

We can't wait for this matchup and expect a back-and-forth battle. We respect both teams and therefore have to take the points.

Best Bet: Baylor +3.5
