TCU vs Georgia Anytime TD Prop Bets For CFP National Championship

Dan Kilbridge | 9 mins

There aren’t many states in this country that celebrate the sport of college football like Georgia and Texas. And there aren’t many cities in the world that do glitz and glamor better than Los Angeles. Which brings us to Monday’s College Football Playoff National Championship, where Georgia and TCU will go head-to-head for the title at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The Bulldogs are a -12.5 favorite on college football betting sites looking to repeat as national champs. Getting back to this game for a chance at back-to-back Nattys has been the expectation in Athens all season. The same can’t be said for the other sideline, where TCU steps into the spotlight after the Frogs’ massive upset win over Michigan.

The Frogs have exceeded expectations almost every week with star quarterback Max Duggan at the helm, and there’s no question they can make things interesting in the championship game.
Best Anytime TD Scorer Props for TCU-Georgia National Championship
Georgia has the best overall defense in the country over the past two years, but oddsmakers on sports betting apps have the total set at 62.5. That’s not entirely surprising given the high-scoring nature of both semifinal games and we should be in store for more fireworks – and touchdowns – on Monday night.
Kenny McIntosh Anytime TD Scorer & Georgia -12.5
Odds: -129 at FanDuel ➜
McIntosh is on top of the anytime TD odds board at -190. We like those college football odds as a parlay with Georgia -12.5. The -190 price is a little steep considering the Bulldogs use so many running backs, but McIntosh is the big threat. He’s averaged at least 7.2 yards per carry in three of the last four games and hit on a few big ones, including a 52-yard scamper against the Buckeyes.
This TCU defense gave up a ton of explosive plays against Michigan and that’s a scary thought against this Georgia offense. That’s why we like the Bulldogs to cover, and we expect McIntosh to light the candle and find an opening for six at least once on the night.
Georgia TE Brock Bowers First TD
Odds: +650 at FanDuel ➜
We love Bowers in this spot because Georgia gets him involved in the run game as well. He’s the toughest matchup for the Horned Frogs' 3-3-5 defense and the Bulldogs don’t waste any time getting him the ball. He scored Georgia’s first touchdown in three games this year, two of which were on the ground – including a 75-yarder on an end-around against Kent State.

He’s a fine option for an anytime touchdown at -175, but he’s always a major part of the script on opening drives and we like the price at +650 for Bowers to find the end zone first.
Georgia WR Adonai Mitchell Anytime TD
Odds: +100 at FanDuel ➜
Mitchell missed all but three games with an injury this season, but the star sophomore made a triumphant return with three catches for 43 yards and a score in the Bulldogs’ win over Ohio State. He also scored in a blowout win over Oregon in the season-opener, so two of his eight catches on the season have gone the distance.
And he scored in both College Football Playoff games a year ago, including a 40-yard touchdown against Alabama in the title game. Mitchell’s return to the lineup wasn’t a huge story, but he made a huge impact right away and should be even more comfortable in this one.
TCU WR Savion Williams Anytime TD
Odds: +360 at FanDuel ➜
We love the price on Williams to find the end zone at some point. You need all the big bodies you can get against Georgia and the 6-foot-5 junior definitely fits the bill. He didn’t play well against the Buckeyes and failed to record a catch, but this is a different matchup and we don’t see TCU having nearly as much success in the rushing attack.
Williams has four touchdowns on the year and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him add a fifth with the Bulldogs paying more attention to Frogs wideouts Quentin Johnston and Taye Barber.
