WynnBET, the online gaming division of Wynn Resorts, has announced a marketing collaboration with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The announcement comes less than two weeks after WynnBET was approved as an operator in Tennessee by the Sports Wagering Committee of the Tennessee Education Lottery (TEL) Corp.

It’s the second NBA betting partnership for the Grizzlies, which announced a deal with FanDuel in November that also included daily fantasy sports.

WynnBet will have integrations across an array of digital and broadcast programs from the Grizzlies and Grind City Media, an on-demand media platform and digital content studio, according to a news release.

In addition, WynnBET and the Grizzlies will collaborate on cross-promotional campaigns including social media, web, and mobile applications, the release said. Inside the FedExForum, home of the Grizzlies, fans will have access to a WynnBET branded lounge, with several additional elements to be announced closer to the online sportsbook's launch in Tennessee.

WynnBET & NASCAR

The Grizzlies partnership comes on the heels of WynnBET being named an Authorized Gaming Operator of NASCAR last October and the Official Online Sportsbook of Martinsville Speedway and Richmond Raceway, pending license approval in Virginia.

WynnBET is currently live in three states — Colorado, Michigan and New Jersey — and has market access in Indiana, Iowa, Massachusetts, Nevada, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia, all awaiting license and regulatory approvals.

Tennessee has approved seven sports betting platforms. BetMGM, DraftKings, FanDuel and Tennessee Action 24/7 launched on Nov. 1 and have seen about $312 million in handle in the first two months. TwinSpires was approved in early January while William Hill and WynnBet were approved on Jan. 29. No launch dates have been set for the three new operators.

FanDuel, Grizzlies Also Have Partnership

The deal on Nov. 2 with FanDuel was the first sports betting partnership for the Grizzlies and the first NBA team to partner with FanDuel. It came just one day after sports betting launched in the state.

FanDuel has access to official Grizzlies marks and logos to use across FanDuel’s online NBA sports betting offering and daily fantasy sports product, as well as marketing opportunities from in-arena signage at FedExForum.

In October, Turner Sports designated FanDuel as the exclusive sportsbook partner for NBA programming on Turner Sports properties.
