With less than two weeks to go until the opening kickoff in the 2025 NFL season, Dallas Cowboys star pass rusher Micah Parsons is still holding out for a new contract, and it doesn't look like he will get it with the Cowboys. In an ugly contract dispute, Parsons and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones have gone back and forth in the news and on social media, and at this point, it appears the relationship between the two has been severed for good. Still, there is time left for the two sides to agree to a new deal, so not all hope is lost.

With Parsons potentially being traded, Bookies.com veteran oddsmaker Adam Thompson has put together hypothetical betting odds for what Parsons’ 2025 team could be in a shakeup across NFL betting sites.

Dallas Cowboys (+125)

Parsons is one of the NFL’s top defensive players, and at just 26 years of age, he figures to be the cornerstone of the Cowboys' defense for many years to come. Although Parsons is currently engaged in a contract dispute with the team, and although he has asked for a trade via social media, odds are that cooler heads prevail and that he remains with Dallas for the 2025 season. He simply is too valuable for the team to lose, and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones figures to pony up and give him the deal he deserves eventually. Still, there appears to be some very real bad blood between the player and the team, and it's not a lock he sticks around with the Cowboys.

New England Patriots (+500)

Should Parsons become available in a trade, then the New England Patriots should come calling and inquire as to what the cost would be. The Patriots have always been built on a solid defense, but that has slipped in recent years. Adding someone like Parsons to the Patriots' defensive mix would be a huge boost to the team as they look to make the playoffs this season.

Green Bay Packers (+550)

The Green Bay Packers are one of the top teams on the rise in the NFC, and adding a star like Micah Parsons to their defensive unit would certainly help the Packers become a true Super Bowl contender. Plus, they could offer the Cowboys the package of draft picks they'd want in a trade.

Buffalo Bills (+700)

The Buffalo Bills are considered one of the best teams in football, but they can always improve. Adding a superstar pass rusher such as Micah Parsons would, of course, help the Bills in their attempt to win the franchise's first Super Bowl this year. Plus, trading him to the Bills would get Parsons out of the NFC.

Las Vegas Raiders (+900)

The Las Vegas Raiders already have one of the league's top edge rushers in Maxx Crosby, so imagine adding Micah Parsons on the opposite side of him? It could help push the Raiders over the top as they look to make a playoff push this season.
