The Philadelphia 76ers have announced a multi-year NBA betting partnership with Betway.

Betway signs will be displayed throughout Wells Fargo Center, including on team bench aprons, courtside LEDs and basket stanchions throughout games, according to a news release. There will also be TV-visible signs alongside the scorers’ table.

One of a number of deals between sportsbooks and NBA teams, this partnership marks Betway’s seventh in the NBA this season, and the seventh partnership with a gaming entity for the Sixers.

The Sixers also have partnerships with these betting sites and betting apps: BetMGM (December 2020), BetRivers (October 2019), Caesars Sportsbook (October 2018), DraftKings (February 2020), FOX Bet (November 2019), and Parx (October 2019).

Social Media Opportunities

The 76ers will also provide Betway opportunities for brand recognition on the 76ers’ official social media accounts, the release said. Prior to each regular season 76ers game, Betway will sponsor a statistics graphic with pre-game insights.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with the Philadelphia 76ers,” Anthony Werkman, chief executive officer of Betway, said in the release. “As the Betway brand is licensed in Pennsylvania, this is not just a branding opportunity but a chance for us to engage with fans who will also be able to access our product. With an extensive list of marketing assets associated with the deal, we are sure this will be a very successful partnership.”

The partnership also includes a social media sweepstakes for Pennsylvania sports betting fans to win 76ers home game tickets. The 76ers (2-1) visit the New York Knicks (2-1) Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET and return home to face the Detroit Pistons (0-3) on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET.
