After a long stint with Nike Golf, World No. 3 Tommy Fleetwood is teeing it up in 2026 as the sport's most coveted apparel free agent.

The 35-year-old Southport native confirmed the split at Pebble Beach in February, and has since turned the early PGA Tour and DP World Tour schedule into a walking wardrobe showcase -- Lululemon and G/FORE at the Dubai Invitational, Vuori and Augusta National gear in practice, Pebble Beach pro shop clothing at the AT&T, and a borrowed Malbon crewneck from Jason Day ahead of the Genesis Invitational at Riviera (where he happened to be several of our experts' outright pick).

It's a situation that rarely plays out in public at this level of the game.

Fleetwood is the reigning FedExCup champion, World No. 3, the top points scorer for Europe's Ryder Cup side at Bethpage in September, and one of the most recognizable and marketable players in the sport. His existing partners -- TaylorMade (equipment), BMW and TAG Heuer -- remain in place. The apparel slot, covering shirts and hats, is wide open.

Fleetwood himself is in no hurry.

"There's some amazing logos around the world -- I also think they're just like memorable pieces," he told Golf Digest at Pebble Beach. "My collection's got a bit bigger, that's for sure."

Still unsigned after his Nike split — who lands golf's most coveted free agent?

Odds Board
1
Sun Day Red Worn on Tour ×2
The biggest mover since February. Worn competitively at the Genesis Invitational (Rhythm Stripe Cashmere Crew, Round 1) and again at The Players Championship (Round 2 polo) — two marquee events in quick succession. Fleetwood is already a TaylorMade equipment staffer; Sun Day Red is TaylorMade's owned apparel brand. CEO David Abeles has publicly confirmed they are pursuing top Tour signings, and Tiger Woods personally congratulated Fleetwood on his Tour Championship win. Full shirt and hat range. The on-course evidence is now stronger than any other brand.

2
Lululemon Worn on Tour
Worn competitively in Dubai — the sighting that kicked off the free-agency story. Actively building a men's Tour presence via Min Woo Lee (2024) and Max Homa (2025). Signing Fleetwood would be their most significant move to date and the relaxed, premium aesthetic aligns with the baggier silhouette he's adopted since leaving Nike. No further sightings since Dubai, which has allowed Sun Day Red to overtake.

3
Adidas Logical Fit
One of the few brands with Nike-level financial firepower and a full golf shirt and hat range. Current Tour roster centres on Collin Morikawa and Ludvig Åberg — Fleetwood would immediately become their No. 1 ambassador. With Xander Schauffele having moved to Descente, the timing is right for a marquee signing. No confirmed on-Tour sighting as yet, which limits the odds.

4
G/FORE Worn on Tour
Wore a G/FORE polo in his first competitive round of 2026 at the Dubai Invitational. The brand carries a full shirt and hat range, has strong Tour visibility, and its bold, fashion-forward aesthetic maps closely onto the look Fleetwood has gravitated toward since leaving Nike. No further competitive sightings reported since Dubai.

5
Malbon Worn (Borrowed)
Seen in Malbon clothing during a practice round at the Genesis Invitational — but confirmed by Fleetwood to Golf Digest that the crewneck belonged to Jason Day, who loaned it to him. The Riviera sighting was similarly borrowed. Recurring appearances keep Malbon relevant, but the borrowed-kit caveat prevents them shortening further. Has a strong and expanding roster (Day, Charley Hull, Fred Couples) and a full hat and shirt range.

6
Vuori Worn on Tour
Confirmed worn during the Dubai Invitational. Produces a dedicated golf hat range alongside their apparel line and signed Maverick McNealy for the 2026 season. Primarily a performance-athleisure brand though — likely a transitional choice rather than a destination at this level of Fleetwood's career. No further sightings since the early-season events.

Field (Other) Open Market
Justin Thomas has now also become a clothing free agent, raising the prospect of a joint or complementary signing that could attract a brand looking for a two-player statement. J.Lindeberg (premium European brand reportedly looking to expand its Tour roster), Students Golf (worn by Fleetwood during TGL) and Greyson Clothiers (worn by Ryder Cup teammates Lowry, Rahm and Hatton) remain credible dark horses.
