The 2026 Winter Olympic in Italy are less than two months away and Team USA has a major event, the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, coming Jan. 4-11 in St. Louis.

Bookies.com, your source for the latest news and sports betting apps reviews, developed odds projecting which athletes will be representing the United States of America during the 2026 Olympics in Milan on behalf of Team USA Figure Skating.  The U.S. team has qualified to send three competitors in Men’s Singles, three in Women’s Singles, three Ice Dance teams and two duos for Pairs competition. Team USA will have 16 skating representatives in all.

US sports betting sites will offer odds on various Olympic events at the 2026 Winter Games, which are set for Feb. 6-22 in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.

The field of men’s candidates for Team USA figure skating for the Olympics is headed by Ilia Malinin. We give him -1150 odds on our board (a 92% implied probability) to make the team. Malinin is the three-time defending national champion, taking the 2025 title by 46.82 total points in January. The 21-year-old Virginia native then captured his second World Championship in March, topping Kazakhstan’s Mikhail Shaidorov.

According to the US Figure Skating website, Malinin has not lost a competition since the 2023 Grand Prix de France, where he placed second.

The next two on our list finished second and third, respectively, at last year’s U.S. Championships. Andrew Torgashev (-450 odds, 81.8% implied probability) and Camden Pulkinen (-200, 66.7%) are heavily favored to join Malinin in Italy.

The Field+24004.0%

The favorites to represent Team USA for the Women’s Singles competition all have collected plenty of honors on the senior level.

That starts with favorite Alysa Liu (-900 odds, 90% implied probability), a 2022 Olympian who won the World Championship last year. Liu, 20, is also the reigning champ at the Grand Prix Final and Skate America. She is part of the reason that the overall USA squad has +500 odds at DraftKings Sportsbook, third on the operator’s board, to win the most gold medals at the 2026 Games.

However, Liu is not the defending national champion. Amber Glenn captured that title for the second consecutive year in 2025, edging Liu by 1.46 points by rallying from a third-place finish in the short program. Glenn, 26, has -450 odds on our board, an 81.8% chance, to add an Olympic appearance to her resume. The Texan finished fifth at last year’s Worlds, where she has improved her finish each of the past three years.

Sarah Everhardt (-200) was third at last year’s Nationals, her second time competing in that event on the senior level.

The Field+90010.0%

This is the only figure skating category in which Team USA only has two spots reserved at the Olympic Winter Games Milano-Cortina 2026.

And this might be the most tightly contested event at next month’s Nationals.

Alise Efimova and Misha Mitrofanov are the defending winners at the U.S. Championships, but they’re fourth on our board at +200 odds. The duo came in fourth at last year’s World Championships, the USA’s best result, making pairs the lone event in which Team USA did not medal.

Our favorites to book a flight to Milan are Emily Chan and Spencer Howe, at -200 odds (a 66.7% implied probability). They have piled up numerous top-three finishes at various competitions in recent years, including second place at the 2023 Nationals. That year, they were fifth at Worlds.

Who will emerge from this tightly contested pack? The U.S. Figure Skating Championships website has more details on the upcoming event in St. Louis.

Team USA Ice Dance Odds

The Field+11008.3%

Defending national and world champions Madison Chock and Evan Bates, skating partners since 2011, lead the Team USA effort in the Ice Dance discipline at -350 odds to make the Olympic roster. Chock is 33 and Bates is 36, so this might be their last shot at medal glory for the three-time Olympians; they were achingly close in 2022, finishing fourth. In January, Chock and Bates aim for their fifth consecutive U.S. Championships crown and seventh overall; they are also three-time defending world champs.

Christina Carreira and Anthony Ponomarenko (-200) were second at Nationals and fifth at Worlds last year. They have finished in the top 10 at the past six U.S. Championships including second in the past two years.

The fight for the third and final spot on the Olympic roster in ice dancing should be a very tight race. Check out the best sports betting promo codes at Bookies.com and bookmark us for more Winter Olympics coverage.
