NFL Week 12 Odds: Complete Lines For Every Game, Including Thanksgiving Slate

Playing on Sundays following a Monday game, or facing a team that played 10 days prior on a Thursday, sounds like a disadvantage for the other team with less rest before kickoff. The results say otherwise, and it can be a good way to spot value in NFL Week 12 odds at betting sites.
Not only are teams with more rest not winning, they’re not covering, and it’s not even close, a big trend to remember when making your NFL picks.
In the 44 matchups through 11 weeks featuring one team with a rest advantage over the other, the team with that “advantage” is a miserable 16-28 against the spread. That’s a 33% hit rate. In terms of straight-up success, not much difference. The advantage comes to a 16-26 overall mark, victorious just 41% of the time. With that little nugget of wisdom front of mind, let’s dig into the NFL Week 12 odds available at sportsbooks, including three Thanksgiving games.

Thursday, Nov. 25
Here are the closing lines for the three Thursday games along with the final results:
Bears (-3) at Lions: Chicago fails to cover but wins the game, 16-14.
Raiders at Cowboys (-7.5): Not only did the Cowboys fail to cover, they lost outright, 36-33, to Las Vegas.
Bills (-6) at Saints: An easy cover for the visiting Bills - a 31-6 rout.
Sunday, Nov. 28
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3) at Indianapolis Colts, 1 p.m. ET
After spending the bye week thinking about their 36-27 loss to the Saints, the Buccaneers lost by 10 to Washington as 10-point favorites in week 10. Before we fret too much about the defending Super Bowl champions, keep in mind QB Tom Brady still leads the NFL in passing yards and TDs, and the defense still ranks No. 9 overall, including No. 2 vs. the run. They toyed with the Giants in a 30-10 blowout on Monday night and still lead the NFC South by two games at 7-3.
The Colts served notice to the rest of the AFC by blowing out the Bills 41-15 in Week 11. Jonathan Taylor has established himself as the NFL’s top RB, going wild for 185 yards and five TDs on the ground against the third-ranked Buffalo rush defense. Indy has won five of six heading into the marquee early Sunday game of the week.

New York Jets at Houston Texans (-2.5), 1 p.m. ET
The Jets offense had stepped up but now has managed only 17 points in each of the last two games, both losses. The defense allowed a modest 24, but that was to the 29th-ranked Dolphins. Prior to that it had allowed 43.8 ppg the last four outings. Joe Flacco got the call and passed for 291 yards and two TDs. Jets coach Robert Saleh hinted that rookie QB Zach Wilson appears ready to return after a four-week absence.
The Texans made history in Week 11, beating the Titans 22-13. It marked the first time in NFL history a team on an eight-game losing streak beat a team on a six-game win streak. But let’s not get too excited. Houston was outgained 420-190 in yards but forced a whopping five turnovers. The Texans still rank bottom-three in total offense and defense.

Philadelphia Eagles (-4) at New York Giants, 1 p.m. ET
The Eagles have dominated the Giants over the years, winning 12 of the last 14 meetings between division rivals. The new run-first strategy gets the headlines – they gained 244 yards rushing and scored 40 vs. the Saints in Week 11 – but the Eagles defense has held its last four opponents to under 110 yards rushing, this after allowing 100-plus in all of the previous seven games.
The Giants exited their bye week having won two of three, but the good feelings disappeared Monday night in a humbling 30-10 loss to the Buccaneers. They were nearly doubled-up in yards, and QB Daniel Jones tossed two INTs, thanks in large part to being pressured on nearly half of his attempts. One bright spot: Saquon Barkley returned to action with six rushes and six receptions totaling 66 yards.

Carolina Panthers (-1.5) at Miami Dolphins, 1 p.m. ET
Cam Newton’s return to Carolina was spoiled by former Panthers QB Taylor Heinicke and coach Ron Rivera, but Newton himself played well with three TDs and 235 total yards. Carolina’s top-ranked pass defense got torched by Heinicke, however. Carolina has lost six of eight after a 3-0 start.
The last four weeks, the maligned Miami defense has turned its season around, limiting the powerful Bills, shutting down the Texans and then, for Week 10, corralling Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in a 22-10 victory. They played nearly even with the Jets in Week 11, but Tua Tagovailoa made plays down the stretch in a 24-17 win. The Dolphins are averaging nearly 75 more yards per game with Tua under center.

Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots (-7), 1 p.m. ET
The Titans outgained the Texans 420-190 in Week 11 – and lost 22-13 thanks to five turnovers. Never before had a team on a six-game win streak lost to a team on an eight-game losing streak. Consider it a fluke; the Titans had five turnovers in their last seven games before doubling it in one afternoon. The run game without Derrick Henry bounced back with its first 100-yard game after three straight duds.
The Patriots defense has held opponents to under 300 total yards four times in the last five weeks, including holding Cleveland to just 217 and Atlanta to 165 the last two weeks. New England has allowed just 13 points the last three weeks while putting up 94. They’ve won five in a row heading into Week 12, despite rookie QB Mac Jones passing for anywhere from 139 to 307 yards in that span.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5), 1 p.m. ET
The Steelers offense came to life against the Chargers in Week 11, but a banged-up defense couldn’t keep up in a 41-37 thriller of a loss in L.A. QB Ben Roethlisberger had his best game all season, though, and now has nine TDs with no INTs over the last five games. Pittsburgh had beaten Cincinnati 11 straight times before dropping last year’s final meeting and a 24-10 home decision in September.
The streaky Bengals exited their bye week seething after dropping bad games to the Jets and Browns. They took it out on the Raiders in Vegas in a 32-13 rout by winning the turnover battle and dominating time of possession. Joe Mixon rushed for 123 yards and two TDs, a nice addition to an offense that ranked 24th in rushing.

Atlanta Falcons (-2) at Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m. ET
Atlanta had won three of four after an impressive win at the Saints in Week 9, but that was followed by a 40-point loss to the Cowboys and an embarrassing 25-0 home loss to the Patriots last Thursday. They’ve now been outscored 68-3 the last two weeks, and QB Matt Ryan has passed for under 155 yards in three of the last four games.
The Jaguars had two inspiring weeks of competitive ball, including a win over the once-vaunted Bills, but that crashed at home vs. the 49ers in Week 11. They gained only 200 yards in a 30-10 blowout loss. It makes the third time in four games Jacksonville managed 10 points or less. QB Trevor Lawrence has three TDs in the last six games.
Take a look at Falcons vs Jaguars odds, injury report, betting lines and more.
Los Angeles Chargers (-2.5) at Denver Broncos, 4:05 p.m. ET
A Chargers pass defense allowing just 205 pass yards per game got torched for 295 by Kirk Cousins in a 27-20 Week 10 home loss to the Vikings. They got touched up for 273 and three TDs by the Steelers in Week 11, but Justin Herbert and the offense came alive in a wild 41-37 win. The score was close, but L.A. outgained Pittsburgh 533-300. Just as encouraging: The Chargers last-ranked run defense held the Steelers’ punishing ground game to just 55 yards.
Confounding Denver is 5-5 with a losing record at home entering NFL Week 11. The Broncos exit their bye week here coming off a 30-13 shellacking at the hands of the Eagles. Prior to that, they went to Dallas and rolled the Cowboys by two touchdowns. QB Teddy Bridgewater has had his issues with L.A., averaging just 178 ypg in two games with one TD. Denver has won three of the last four vs. the Chargers, though the last three have all been decided by three points or less.

Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers (-3), 4:25 p.m. ET
Kirk Cousins dueled with Aaron Rodgers and led the Vikings to a huge 34-31, last-second win over the Packers in Week 11, keeping Minnesota in the NFC mix. The Vikings were 1-4 in games decided by four points or less prior to the big home win. The offense led the charge here, piling up over 400 yards, over 100 more than the Packers allow on average.
The 49ers are playing about as well as anyone west of Indianapolis. After crushing the Rams 31-10 on Monday night, the Niners took care of business in a 30-10 rout of the Jaguars in Week 11. Jimmy Garoppolo has now thrown two TDs in three straight games. With Deebo Samuel, rising WR Brandon Aiyuk and the return of stud TE George Kittle, the San Fran offense has become a force. Minnesota has allowed just one TD to tight end.

Los Angeles Rams (-2) at Green Bay Packers, 4:25 p.m. ET
The Rams come off their bye week to head to Lambeau looking for answers after a pair of double-digit losses. Matthew Stafford tossed a pick-6 in both defeats, to the Titans and 49ers. This remains a team that, at 7-3, in control of their own destiny, one that ranks 11th in defense and sixth in offense and boasts a 4-1 road record.
Aaron Rodgers had his best game of the season vs. the Vikings (385 yards, four TDs), but the defense and kicking failed in a 34-31 loss at rival Minnesota. Rodgers has 21 TDs to just one INT over his last nine games. After shutting down Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson the last two weeks, the pass defense allowed 341 pass yards to Kirk Cousins, over 100 above their average .
Take a look at Rams vs Packers odds, injury report, betting lines and more.
Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens (-3.5), 8:20 p.m. ET
Baker Mayfield tossed two INTs and kept the winless Lions in it until the end, but Nick Chubb’s return (130 rush yards, TD reception) and the defense pulled out a 13-10 win. The Browns defense was ripped by Mac Jones and the Pats last week in a 45-7 decision, but the Lions managed only 245 total yards, 57 of which was on one play. The Browns have lost the last three meetings with the Ravens, but the last was a 47-42 shootout. Mayfield has averaged 297 ypg vs. Baltimore in his career.
Baltimore didn’t have Lamar Jackson vs. the Bears, but Brett Hundley did enough and the Ravens escaped Chicago with a 16-13 road win to move to 7-3. The offense still has issues, this after scoring just 10 vs. the Dolphins the week prior. Playing Cleveland motivates Jackson; he’s averaging 184 ypg passing in six career games against the Browns, but also 73 rushing yards, including 124 yards and two TDs last time out. He has 14 total TDs and two INTs vs. the Browns.

Monday, Nov. 29
Seattle Seahawks (-1) at Washington Football Team , 8:15 p.m. ET
Russell Wilson’s return to the lineup was supposed to energize a struggling Seattle game, but it hasn’t worked out. The offense has just 13 points over two games, and Wilson is completing 51.5% of his passes with no TDs and two INTs. He’s lost three straight starts for the first time ever. A Seahawks defense that was allowing 451 total yards the first five weeks had given up just 338 the last four until Colt McCoy and Arizona went for 413 in Week 11.
Washington spoiled Cam Newton’s return to Carolina, as former Panthers QB Taylor Heinicke and coach Ron Rivera got the 27-21 win upon their own return to Charlotte. Washington may be a modest 4-6 overall, but it’s 2-0 since the bye week, with wins over Tom Brady and the Buccaneers and the emotional Carolina win.
