The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the NFC South in 2024, winning their division for the fourth straight year, and the third year in a row under head coach Todd Bowles. Unfortunately for the Bucs, they lost in their Wild Card round matchup against the Washington Commanders 23-20, marking a disappointing end to their season.

With quarterback Baker Mayfield slinging the pigskin, the Bucs always have a chance to win games in this league. Overall, the Bucs still have a solid team and they play in a weak division, so they have a good chance to make the playoffs again in the NFC. Just like every team in the NFL, they are going to want to make upgrades to give them the best shot of repeating as the NFC South division winner for the fifth year in a row.

With the No. 19 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Bucs likely won’t get their hands on a generational superstar since they are picking in the bottom half of the first round, but they will surely have the chance to draft a solid contributor. On the defensive line, Derrick Harmon of Oregon is a good prospect who the Bucs could select at No. 19.

James Pearce Jr., Edge, Tennessee (+700)
Should James Pearce Jr. of Tennessee remain on the board by the time the Bucs pick, the team could take a shot on him to help on their edge.

Shavon Revel, CB, E. Carolina (+800)
Cornerback is another position the Bucs could look to upgrade, and Shavon Revel of East Carolina is someone they could consider with their first-round draft choice.
