The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the NFC South in 2024, winning their division for the fourth straight year, and the third year in a row under head coach Todd Bowles. Unfortunately for the Bucs, they lost in their Wild Card round matchup against the Washington Commanders 23-20, marking a disappointing end to their season.

With quarterback Baker Mayfield slinging the pigskin, the Bucs always have a chance to win games in this league. Overall, the Bucs still have a solid team and they play in a weak division, so they have a good chance to make the playoffs again in the NFC. Just like every team in the NFL, they are going to want to make upgrades to give them the best shot of repeating as the NFC South division winner for the fifth year in a row.

With the No. 19 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Bucs likely won’t get their hands on a generational superstar since they are picking in the bottom half of the first round, but they will surely have the chance to draft a solid contributor. Bookies.com veteran oddsmaker Adam Thompson has put together hypothetical  NFL odds for sports betting on who the Bucs could take with their first-round pick.

Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama (+250)
The Bucs do need help on defense, so it makes sense the team would target linebacker Jihaad Campbell of Alabama for their first-round pick.

Derrick Harmon, DL, Oregon (+500)
On the defensive line, Derrick Harmon of Oregon is a good prospect who the Bucs could select at No. 19.

James Pearce Jr., Edge, Tennessee (+700)
Should James Pearce Jr. of Tennessee remain on the board by the time the Bucs pick, the team could take a shot on him to help on their edge.

Shavon Revel, CB, E. Carolina (+800)
Cornerback is another position the Bucs could look to upgrade, and Shavon Revel of East Carolina is someone they could consider with their first-round draft choice.

Mike Green, Edge, Marshall (+900)
Marshall’s Mike Green is another edge rusher who the Bucs could choose if they want to improve that part of their defense.

Malaki Starks, S, Georgia (+900)
If the secondary is what the Bucs want to change up, then taking Malaki Starks of Georgia would make sense for their pick.

Armand Membou, T, Missouri (+1000)
If the Bucs choose to upgrade their offensive line, Armand Membou of Missouri could be a good choice for the team.

Jalon Walker, Edge, Georgia (+1200)
Jalon Walker of Georgia would be a nice pickup for the Bucs at the edge, although he will likely be off the board by the time they make their pick.

The Field (+750)
With so many prospects available to be picked, the field is always a possibility for the Bucs’ pick at No. 19.
