The Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers both got big wins in Round 1 of the playoffs. Now, they will meet for the ninth time in the postseason. 

The 49ers won the matchup last year, defeating the Cowboys in Dallas. Can Dallas return the favor on the road this season? Or will the 49ers extend their 11-game winning streak? That remains to be seen.

49ers RB Christian McCaffrey

Odds: -150 at FanDuel

The biggest lock of the week on betting apps is McCaffrey getting into the end zone at least once. He’s scored in seven straight games for the 49ers and looks as good as we’ve seen in years. In a game like this, don’t be surprised if Kyle Shanahan ups his usage and we see him get 20+ touches. 

Against a defense that struggles against the run and against receiving backs, McCaffrey could have a big day on Sunday.

49ers WR Deebo Samuel

Odds: +145 at FanDuel

Deebo Samuel looks fully healthy for the first time this season. And that should terrify the Cowboys. Against the Seahawks, he racked up 165 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown. 

He received multiple carries from the running back position and we know he’s a threat to score from anywhere on the field. With the Cowboys having some serious secondary issues, Samuel could have a monster day on Sunday as he could get double-digit touches.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb

Odds: +170 at FanDuel

The 49ers have the best defense in the NFL, but they can be beaten through the air when playing fantastic receivers. We saw D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett both have big games in the Wild Card Round, so we should expect CeeDee Lamb to have similar success. Including the postseason, Lamb has scored 10 touchdowns this season.

But in big games, he’s usually the first guy that Dak Prescott looks to in the red zone. He’ll have a big mismatch in the slot, so don’t be surprised if the Cowboys target him early and often on Sunday.

49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk

Odds: +230 at FanDuel

Aiyuk had a solid day in the Wild Card Round against the Seahawks, but he dropped a pass in the end zone on a perfectly thrown ball by Brock Purdy. He should have a big mismatch again this week as the Cowboys have serious cornerback problems opposite of Trevon Diggs. And with the Cowboys likely to devote all of their attention to Deebo Samuel and George Kittle, Aiyuk is the player that could have a big game against Xavier Rhodes and Daron Bland. 

Look for Purdy to target Aiyuk over the middle of the field and in the red zone as he’s been their most reliable weapon all season.

Cowboys TE Dalton Schultz

Odds: +250 at FanDuel

Schultz was one of our favorite bets to get into the end zone last week and he scored two touchdowns against the Buccaneers. This week, he’ll have a tougher matchup as the 49ers might have the best pair of linebackers in the NFL right now. 

They typically erase the middle of the field for opposing offenses, but look for Prescott to find ways to get the ball to Schultz in tight spaces.
