Week 5 of the NFL betting season features a Sunday morning matchup in London between the 4-0 Minnesota Vikings and the turbulent New York Jets.

Sam Darnold was taken by the Jets in the 2018 draft but failed to deliver. He's enjoying a career renaissance in Minnesota. Aaron Rodgers may bail on his new team if things don't correct soon.  NFL odds have the Vikings as -2.5-point favorites. The total sits at 40.5 points.

We'll take a look at some player props from that game and a few others.

Vikings QB Sam Darnold: Over 1.5 Passing TDs

Odds: +110 at DraftKings

Vikings QB Sam Darnold: Over 19.5 Completions

Odds: -110 at FanDuel

Best Bet: The Vikings have been able to spread defenses. The Jets strength is in their linebacking corps. Sam Darnold can work his way in front and behind them. His motivation for this game against his former team and against the QB he grew up idolizing will be sky high. Justin Jefferson is always just one snap away from another 80-something-yard catch. Darnold's thrown at least 2 TDs in all 4 games this season. Including 2 in Minnesota's Week 2 win over the 49ers.

Jets QB Aaron Rodgers: Over 225.5 Yards Passing

Odds: -113 at FanDuel

Best Bet: This will be the 30th time Aaron Rodgers has faced the Vikings. He's beaten them - and covered - 17 times in 29 starts. The Vikings' pass defense ranks 32nd in the NFL, allowing 274.3 YPG in the air. The number here is nearly 50 points lower. The Vikings would be happy to find themselves in an offensive shootout with the Jets. When he's on, Rodgers should have no trouble keeping up. Rodgers seems to be more concerned with courting his former teammate Davante Adams, who wants out of Sin City.

Jets RB Breece Hall: Under 49.5 Yards Rushing

Odds: -113 at FanDuel

Best Bet: Breece Hall has gone under his projected rushing total in all 4 games this season. Last week, he was held to just 4 yards rushing by the Broncos on 10 carries. The Vikings boast the No. 2 rushing defense in the NFL at just 75 YPG. This is his lowest number by 11 yards all season. Hall will be used as the Jets short-yardage back. And the Vikings will stack the box in those situations.

Best NFL Prop Bets To Back Today For Week 5: London Calling 2

Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson: Under 55.5 Rushing Yards

Odds: -110 at DraftKings

Best Bet: Rhamondre Stevenson was supposed to be the fulcrum of the Patriots offense this season. But he's proven to be an unreliable ball-carrier. His 4 fumbles in 4 games would have led directly to the bench under Bill Belichick. Even Jerod Mayo preaches “ball security is job security.” Stevenson has missed this number in his past 2 games. And his carries have gone down significantly. Antonio Gibson will get the start at running back. And if Gibson holds on to the ball, Stevenson may find that spot on the bench after all..

Bills RB James Cook: Under 14.5 Carries

Odds: -114 at FanDuel

Best Bet: The Bills have quietly shifted 2 key positions on their offense this season. One is at tight end. The other is the featured back. Rookie Ray Davis has emerged a a favorite of Josh Allen, taking snaps and carries from James Cook. Cook has failed to crack a dozen carries in Baltimore's past 3 games. The Bills might not have a chance to lean on the run against the Texans.
