This week, the Lions visit Houston. The Texans are coming off a Halloween night loss to the Jets and are missing some key tools on offense. NFL odds have the Lions favored by 3.5 points. The total is 48.5 points
We'll take a look at some player props from that game and a few others.

Best NFL Week 10 Player Props
Detroit WR Amon-Ra St. Brown: Anytime TD
Odds: +115 FanDuel
Detroit WR Amon-Ra St. Brown: Over 65.5 Receiving Yards
Odds: -114 FanDuel
Best Bet: Amon-Ra St. Brown has scored a touchdown in each of the Lions' last 6 games. The Lions face the Houston Texas this week. But that game will be indoors. The Lions had little trouble scoring against the Packers in the rain at Lambeau. The total here is 48.5, which is high considering the Texans’ offensive deficiencies. The Lions will carry the bulk of that total. Jared Goff targets St. Brown on 28.1% of his throws, and 28.9% of the time in the end zone. He’s even more coveted in close games, stacking 75 or more yards in 3 of the games Detroit has won by one score.
Minnesota QB Sam Darnold: Over 243.5 Passing Yards
Odds: -113 FanDuel
Best Bet: All signs point to the Vikings stacking up points at Jacksonville. We’re not so sure. The weather in Northern Florida Sunday afternoon will be warm and humid. The total here is 43.5, with the assumption that Minnesota will be providing the bulk of that number. Mac Jones is starting for Trevor Lawrence. Doug Pederson should know this will be his last season in Jacksonville, unless the Jaguars run the table. They won’t. The Jaguars’ defense has declawed. It ranks 31st in passing yards allowed per game (275.3) and tied for last in passing TDs allowed (19).
Chicago RB D’Andre Swift: Over 70.5 Rushing Yards
Odds: -110 bet365
Best Bet: The Bears draw New England this week. New England does a good job of keeping the opposition out of the end zone. But between the 20s – it’s all break. No bend. New England is getting gashed for 159 rushing yards per game. D'Andre Swift is gobbling 76.5% of the carries with the Bears. He’s gone over this lofty projected total 4 times in his past 5 games, averaging 18 carries and 87 yards per outing. And Caleb Williams plateaued of late. So Chicago will lean into the run even more in what will likely be another low-scoring affair.
New England RB Rhamondre Stevenson: Under 50.5 Rushing Yards
Odds: -113 FanDuel
Best Bet: Drake Maye has been the lone semi-bright (maybe about 40 watts) spot for the beleaguered Patriots. The rookie QB has dazzled at times, especially when it comes to running with the ball. But any Maye Magic has been the result of opposing teams stuffing the Patriots’ rushing game. The Bears will be happy to let Maye try and beat them. Chicago is going to stack against the run and that means trouble for RB Rhamondre Stevenson. He’s slipping of late, having failed to hit the 50-yard mark rushing in 5 of the Patriots’ past 6 games. And he’s one turnover away from landing on the bench.
Pittsburgh WR George Pickens: Anytime TD
Odds: +115 FanDuel
Best Bet: The Commanders and Steelers offer the most competitive game of the week. Both teams have overachieved this season. The matchup here is Mike Tomlin’s defense against a stellar rookie QB. But Jayden Daniels is still a rookie. Russ has begun to cook. George Pickens continues to draw lots of targets, but he hasn’t been able to convert those into scores. The Commanders’ secondary presents (26th in the NFL when it comes to stopping wideouts from scoring) an opportunity for Pickens to finally reach the end zone with the ball.
