The Eagles cruised through their first two postseason games with impressive blowout wins. Kansas City limped its way past the Jaguars and Bengals in two hard-fought games, the type that leave a lasting impression even after a two-week break. Philadelphia is the healthier team, with the superior defense, and we’re on them to cover -1.5 over the Chiefs in Super Bowl 57 on betting apps. 

This line has been creeping up and hit 51.5 for the first time Thursday night. We already liked the Under and will gladly take the extra point as bettors continue to hammer the over. Yes, these are the two most prolific offenses in the league. But the Chiefs are banged up and missing key pieces, and the Eagles run more than any team in the league. This could be a lower-scoring affair than many expect and we'll take the Under on betting sites.

With injuries at receiver and Patrick Mahomes still dealing with a high ankle sprain to some degree, looking Kelce’s way for quick routes is the best way to keep the chains moving. The Eagles will concede those short gains and Kelce has been the go-to guy all postseason, with 14 catches against the Jaguars and seven against the Bengals. We’re expecting a similar performance Sunday. 

Kelce is going to get a lot of targets for sure, but they likely won’t be big chunk plays. While the Eagles secondary does concede things up front, they keep everything in front of them and do a great job limiting the home run routes. He’s only surpassed this total once in the last four games and we don’t see him going over 84.5 yards in Glendale. 

There’s nothing the Eagles would love to do more than sit on an early lead and pound the rock all night. That’s how it went in massive wins over the Giants and 49ers, but the Chiefs won’t go down quietly. Oddsmakers have this as a very close matchup, nearly a pick ‘em. We still like the Eagles to win and cover, but it’ll take a little more from Hurts in the passing game to get it done on Super Bowl Sunday.

The Eagles have been the top offense in the league all year, and they don’t waste time getting after it. Philadelphia leads the league in first-half scoring with an average of 18.2 points, and they’ll be looking to sprint out of the gate. Even if Kansas City wins the opening toss, the Chiefs will likely ease into things as Mahomes tests the ankle at game speed for the first time in two weeks. We like the Eagles to win the race to 10 points.
