As soon as the teams were set for Super Bowl 54, the lines were set.

The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers advanced to the Super Bowl in Miami on Feb. 2. The oddsmakers are giving a slim edge to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, who opened up as 1.5-point favorites at FanDuel and William Hill. The numbers could start to shift as early money comes in, so be sure to check out the latest Super Bowl Odds.

The Over/Under has been posted at 52.5 points at FanDuel and William Hill while it’s 53 points at 888sport and 53.5 points at SugarHouse.

Chiefs, 49ers Winning Impressively

In terms of NFL betting trends, both teams are on a roll when it comes to covering the spread. The Chiefs are 6-0-1 ATS in their last seven games, the 49ers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven against teams with winning records.

Each winning team on Sunday scored 35-plus points. Patrick Mahomes passed for 294 yards and three TDs and ran for another – a back-breaking dynamic score in the final seconds of the first half – in Kansas City’s 35-24 win over Tennessee. The Chiefs’ maligned run defense held Titans powerhouse Derrick Henry to just 69 yards on 19 carries.

The 49ers held off the Packers 37-20 to earn the right to be the NFC’s Super Bowl representative. San Francisco jumped out to a 27-0 halftime lead on Green Bay before the Packers gamely played themselves back to within 14 points before running out of time.

Raheem Mostert had a career day with 29 carries for 220 yards and four TDs. QB Jimmy Garoppolo was just 6-of-8 passing for 77 yards.
