The Dallas Cowboys have won four straight games since their Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They currently have the No. 2 scoring offense in the NFL and their defense has created multiple turnovers in nine straight games.

Meanwhile, the Patriots have really struggled on offense this season. They’ve yet to score more than 25 points in a single game and the defense has been up-and-down depending on the week. But can they pull off the big-time upset at home in Week 6?

To get you ready for this matchup, here is everything you need to know from an NFL betting perspective going into Week 6.

Take a look at Cowboys vs Patriots odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Cowboys vs. Patriots Key Matchups

Cowboys LT Tyron Smith vs. Patriots EDGE Matt Judon: Smith is back to his All-Pro self, but Judon has been fantastic this season. Don’t be surprised if New England moves Judon around to avoid Smith.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper vs. Patriots CB J.C. Jackson: Cooper did not have much success in his last meeting against New England. But Jackson will have his hands full in this matchup.

Patriots TE Hunter Henry vs. Cowboys LB Keanu Neal: The Cowboys have had problems stopping tight ends this season, so Henry and Jonnu Smith could be in for a big week.

Cowboys vs. Patriots Player Props

Patriots TE Hunter Henry To Score TD

Odds: +180 at DraftKings

Henry is quickly becoming Mac Jones’ favorite target and he looks for him near the end zone. The Cowboys have been especially vulnerable to tight ends this season, so expect him to see a ton of work in Week 6.

Patriots QB Mac Jones, Under 270.5 Passing Yards

Odds: -115 at DraftKings

For the Patriots to win this game, they are going to need to rely on the rushing attack to keep it close. Don’t expect Jones to throw it much down the field against the Cowboys, who have created a ton of takeaways this season. Jones will likely only throw the ball 30-35 times in this game, which won’t allow him to go over 270.5 yards.

Cowboys TE Blake Jarwin, Over 14.5 Receiving Yards

Odds: -120 at DraftKings

Dalton Schultz has been the better tight end for the Cowboys this season, but Jarwin can be a big weapon in the passing game too. Don’t be surprised if the Cowboys utilize a bunch of two tight end sets and for Jarwin to see a few targets down the seam against the less-than-athletic linebackers for the Patriots.

Cowboys vs. Patriots Moneyline

The Patriots find themselves in a unique situation once again. After years of never being a home underdog, they are for the second straight game in Foxboro. With the offense struggling, it’s fair to wonder how in the world they will be able to keep up with the Cowboys.

But as we saw in Week 4 against the Buccaneers, Bill Belichick can find ways to keep games close at home with his defense. On top of that, the Cowboys have not had a lot of success against New England.

They’ve lost six straight games against the Patriots and with a bye week looming, it wouldn’t be a surprise if they came out flat in this contest. Considering the value, take the Patriots +160 on DraftKings and expect this game to be a lot closer than many anticipate.

Cowboys vs. Patriots Point Spread

If the moneyline bet is too risky for you, consider taking the Patriots on the point spread. Depending on where you get your NFL spreads, this line is 4 to 4.5 with the Cowboys being favored.

Dallas is a perfect 5-0 against the spread this season, but the Patriots present a unique challenge for them. New England’s defense is so incredibly well-rounded and well-coached. Dallas might struggle to throw the ball, especially over the middle of the field. This game feels like a coin flip that will likely come down to the last possession or last kick.

Look for the Patriots to have a ton of success on the ground against a Cowboys’ run defense that really hasn’t been tested yet. Take the Patriots +4.5 (-110) on BetMGM as this is too many points for one of the best home teams in the NFL. Expect most of the public to be on the Cowboys in this game, making the Patriots an even better bet.

Cowboys vs. Patriots Totals

The total for this game is all over the place depending on the betting apps and sportsbooks you visit. Some sites have it at 50 or 50.5, while others have it at 52.

It’s worth noting that the Cowboys have scored a combined 39 points in their last three games against the Patriots. Belichick knows how to slow down this offense as Dak Prescott has scored only 19 career points (two games) against the Patriots. Both teams will likely lean heavily on their rushing attacks to shorten this game.

Take the Under 52 (-110) on FanDuel and expect a 23-20 type of game in Foxboro. This certainly isn’t a game that is going to turn into a shootout in New England.
