The Jordan Love era in Green Bay got off to a sketchy start, losing five of seven. But the young QB and his young receivers progressed, and by the end of the year, the Packers were one of the hottest teams in the NFL. A shocking blowout of the Cowboys in the playoffs put a bow on a surprise winning season.
Now it’s time for the encore, but young Green Bay must improve in a few key areas to take the next step and challenge in the NFC.
Bookies.com veteran oddsmaker Adam Thompson has used his resources of NFL contacts developed over 20 years covering the league and the NFL Draft to create his hypothetical NFL futures odds on who gets selected 25th by the Green Bay Packers in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Who Will The Packers Draft?
The Packers made headlines by signing coveted free agent RB Josh Jacobs, then abruptly releasing Pro Bowler and fan favorite Aaron Jones. Jones went on to sign with the rival Vikings.
But perhaps a more important addition was that of safety Xavier McKinney, turning one of the team’s huge weak spots last year into a strength. Covering the pass outside remains an issue, so cornerback will be strongly looked at in the first round. Building the offensive line might trump it, especially the interior line.
Tackles Joe Alt of Notre Dame and J.C. Latham of Alabama are unlikely to be on the board when the Packers pick at No. 25.

After them, there are a few others that could be gone or could be available, depending on how the first few hours of Round 1 unfold. Penn State’s Olumuyiwa Fashanu fits in that category.
Troy Fautanu of Washington played tackle in college but some scouts project him as a great future guard. The same goes for Taliese Fuaga of Oregon State, who likely will be off the board at 25.
Seeking a darkhorse? Cooper Beebe of Kansas State and Graham Barton of Duke are borderline first-round picks, but major prospects at offensive guard. If the Packers key on that position, Beebe or Barton make sense.
Cornerbacks Ennie Rakestraw of Missouri and Cooper DeJean of Iowa are strong candidates if the team looks to the second round for O-line help. Minnesota’s Tyler Rubin may be the top safety in the draft, and should be available at 25 as well.
The Field includes a slew of “best available” options if the Packers go that route, including Edge rushers Laiatu Latu of UCLA and offensive tackles Amarius Mims of Georgia and Tyler Guyton of Oklahoma.
