After back-to-back losing campaigns, and a last-place finish in the AFC South in 2023, the Tennessee Titans parted ways with head coach Mike Vrabel. Also gone is RB Derrick Henry, an all-time workhorse and longtime face of the franchise.

The cupboard isn’t totally bare. After all, this franchise had six straight winning seasons before this recent downturn. The offense needs an overhaul, but so far free agency has been successful. Now it’s on to the 2024 NFL Draft.

Bookies.com veteran oddsmaker Adam Thompson has used his resources of NFL contacts developed over 20 years covering the league and the NFL Draft to create his hypothetical NFL futures odds on who gets selected seventh by the Tennessee Titans in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Who Will The Tennessee Titans Pick?

Across the board, the defense of the Titans held up its end of the bargain more than the offense, which ranked 27th in scoring and 28th in total yards. But Will Levis enters his second season and should improve, and in addition to DeAndre Hopkins, the newly acquired Calvin Ridley gives Tennessee a marquee set of wideouts.

Tony Pollard was brought in from Dallas to be the lead back. So the team is set in the skill spots, but questions remain. Only the Giants allowed more sacks than the Titans last year. Tackle is the main concern up front.

Notre Dame’s Joe Alt has been on Tennessee’s radar. He’s an immediate-help tackle, someone who can start Week 1 and give Levis time to find those WRs. While Alt is normally a guy who wouldn’t be on the board by Pick 7, the run on QBs offers hope.

If Alt isn’t there, J.C. Latham of Alabama may be just as good, if not better in some scouts’ eyes. The need at tackle is there for Tennessee, and either selection works. He leads The Field, however, as his stock has reportedly tumbled behind closed doors into the middle of the first round.

Defensively, the Titans must get to the QB better – so Edge rushing improvement is a key – and back-end help, especially at the safety spot since the team added CB Chidobe Awuzie in free agency.

No safeties are expected to go in the Top 20, so that’s a position the Titans likely look to on Day 2. Edge rushers Dallas Turner of Alabama and Jared Verse of Florida State may quickly go right after the Titans at No. 8 unless Tennessee nabs one first. It’s a deep class for the position, so tackle still gets top priority.
