It's an AFC South “clash” as the bottom-placed team takes on the top team in the division this Sunday. The Week 5 matchup between these two ended with a 37-19 win for the Titans.

The Jaguars are one of the worst teams in the league and a loss here officially rules them out of the playoffs. Sitting at 2-10 for the season, realistically they want to keep losing to improve their pick in the upcoming draft.

On the other side of the ball the 8-4 Titans are still the second seed in the AFC despite two losses in a row. The bye week has allowed them to bring back Julio Jones from IR to add some much-needed talent to their passing game, which has been anaemic in recent weeks.

It won’t shock you to find the NFL betting markets have the Titans at over a touchdown favorite on the NFL spreads and a low-scoring affair seems to be expected.

Let’s have a look at some matchups and stats to help find some angles to assist your NFL picks.

Take a look at Jaguars vs Titans odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Jaguars vs Titans Key Matchups

Tannehill vs. The Titans lack of talent: Ryan Tannehill goes as his talent does, expect a lot of targets for the returning Julio against the 31st-ranked Jaguars passing defense. If he goes down again, they’re in trouble.

The Titans run game vs. Jags defense: Despite losing the game the Titans run game was effective in their last matchup, with Hilliard and Foreman both topping 100 yards on the ground. If they get that going again they should win easily.

Jaguars offense vs. themselves: This Jags offense has been dismal this year with a high of just 23 points, coming against the Dolphins in London. There have been costly drops, but the coaching is terrible and they need that to change to get anywhere here.

Mycole Pruitt anytime TD

Odds: +480 at TwinSpires

Seems to get the endzone targets over Firkser, even with Julio back there’s not much pass catching talent.

James Robinson over 49.5 rushing yards

Odds: -115 at DraftKings

Trevor Lawrence told the world he loves the guy and wants him on the field. You do what the boss tells you.

James Robinson over 15.5 receiving yards

Odds: -110 at Caesars Sportsbook

Robinson tends to get involved in the passing game when he plays, he's gone over this line four of the last six.

James O’Shaughnessy over 2.5 receptions

Odds: -145 at DraftKings

With Dan Arnold out he’s the remaining tight end. He caught only two last week, but had six targets.

Jaguars vs Titans Moneyline

With the Titans such large favorites there’s obviously a prohibitive price on them winning the game outright, so it’s either taking the Jaguars to win straight up or leaving this one alone.

The best price available for the Titans on betting sites is -435 with DraftKings, while the Jaguars can be found at +375 with PointsBet. I don’t think the Jaguars pull off the upset here but the lack of offensive weapons may keep it close.

Jaguars vs Titans Point Spread

After losing Derrick Henry, Julio Jones and AJ Brown all at once the Titans have lost two games in a row; a shocker against the Texans and more predictably against the Patriots. Before this recent run they were 7-2 against the spread to open the year.

Without Henry they’ve gone 1-3 against the spreads available on betting apps. The Jaguars are also 1-3 over the last month and a poor 4-8 over the season. The line has come in on the Jaguars side and that’s the way I’d lean. It’s Jags or nothing for me. You can get the Jaguars +9 (-110) with DraftKings.

Jaguars vs Titans Totals

Every stat for this game suggests you take the under, the sportsbooks know that but I can’t go over here. Despite Julio returning, the Titans are depleted on offense, and even when he was playing at the start of the season he wasn’t putting up big numbers, so it’s a bump for the offense but not a big one.

The Jaguars are a seasoned under team this year as their offense is the second-worst in the league in terms of points scored. I can’t take anything other than the Under in this one; grab under 43.5 at -105 with FanDuel.
