Week 9 was one of the most challenging daily fantasy sports weeks in recent memory. Multiple elite quarterbacks struggled (Patrick Mahomes, Dak Prescott, Josh Allen), and that is on top of a few high-end guys missing time due to injuries/COVID-19. It made NFL betting difficult, too.

NFL DFS Week 10 projects to be a fun slate of games as we have multiple matchups with colossal point totals. This is a week in which winning lineups will be higher than usual as points will come early and often.

Best Week 10 DFS Stacks

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott ($6,900) and TE Dalton Schultz ($5,000)

Prescott had his worst game of the season in Week 9 and yet, he totaled 19.9 points. He’ll face Atlanta’s defense on Sunday, who can be had through the air. The last time he faced the Falcons, he totaled over 460 yards and the Cowboys scored 40 points. He should have another big day on Sunday.

Schultz is an excellent player to stack him with, as fellow tight end Blake Jarwin will miss this game with a hip injury. Schultz has seen at least five targets in seven of eight games this season and is always a good bet to score a touchdown.

Falcons QB Matt Ryan ($6,000) and RB Cordarrelle Patterson ($6,600)

You should also consider the other quarterback from this game. Matt Ryan has been a phenomenal road quarterback this season, averaging over 305 passing yards per game. In fact, Ryan is averaging 23.2 fantasy points per game when playing on the road this season. So, in a game in which a ton of points should be scored, Ryan is a good bet to throw for 300 or more yards and multiple touchdowns.

Patterson is the optimal stack with Ryan as he continues to produce at a high level every week. Patterson caught six passes for 126 yards in Week 9 and has seen at least five targets in every game since Week 2. While he plays more receiver than running back, he is a must-start player this week, given his volume and efficiency.

Colts QB Carson Wentz ($5,900) and WR Michael Pittman ($6,300)

Wentz has thrown two or more touchdowns in six straight games and has back-to-back games with three passing touchdowns. Consider playing him with Michael Pittman Jr., who has scored four touchdowns over the last three weeks.

The second-year receiver is averaging over 73 yards per game this season and has already scored five touchdowns. He is the clear-cut No. 1 receiver in Indianapolis and a must-start WR2 against Jacksonville on Sunday.

Best NFL Week 10 DFS Team For Sunday’s Games

Pos. Player Matchup DraftKings
Price
QBMatt Ryan Falcons vs. Cowboys $6,000
RB Cordarrelle Patterson Falcons vs. Cowboys $6,600
RB D’Ernest Johnson Browns vs Patriots $4,700
WR Mike Evans Buccaneers vs. Washington $6,000
WR Michael Pittman Jaguars vs. Colts $6,300
WR Diontae Johnson Lions vs. Steelers $6,800
TE Dalton Schultz Falcons vs. Cowboys $5,000
FLEX Michael Gallup Falcons vs. Cowboys $4,000
D/ST Cardinals Panthers vs. Cardinals $3,700

Note: Based on a $50,000 salary cap for the week and for Sunday daytime contests

Diontae Johnson is the clear-cut No. 1 receiver in Pittsburgh, and his production has been solid over the last few weeks. Johnson has seen double-digit targets in five of his seven games this season and averages over 75 receiving yards per game.

With Chase Claypool now dealing with a toe injury, Johnson may get an even bigger target share in Week 10. The Steelers are facing the Lions this week, who are allowing nearly 30 points per game. It should be a big day for Johnson this Sunday.

If you are searching for a cheap flex play this week, Michael Gallup is a fantastic option. He is finally returning to the lineup after missing the last two months with a calf injury. He is 100% healthy and faces the Atlanta defense in Week 10. With Amari Cooper likely to be shadowed by A.J. Terrell, Gallup should have a very favorable matchup on the outside in a high-scoring game. You aren’t going to find a better player with more upside at the $4,00 price point.
