This is usually the first week of the fantasy football playoffs in most season-long leagues. But if you are like me, your team was struck by injuries all season long and you are likely out of the playoffs. That is why daily fantasy (DFS) is so much fun, as it takes some of the injury luck away from fantasy football.

Today, we will take a look at some of the best QB-WR stacks and some of the best plays available in Week 15. However, it's worth mentioning that there are two games on Saturday this week, which takes away some options for us during the Sunday afternoon. With that in mind, here are some of our favorite plays this week!

NFL Week 15 DFS Stacks

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott ($6,500) and WR Amari Cooper ($6,400)

Prescott has struggled some over the last month, but he'll face the Giants in Week 15. That is a team he has historically dominated, which includes a 44-20 win in Week 5 this season. In addition, Prescott's price ($6,500) is the second-cheapest he's been all season, which makes him strong value against one of the league's worst pass defenses.

Picking who to stack him with is a bit of a challenge, but Cooper is probably the right choice given his price point. He totaled 60 yards and a touchdown in the previous meeting and has had some huge games in the past.

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger ($5,600) and WR Diontae Johnson ($7,500)

Don't look now, but Ben Roethlisberger has been a pretty solid DFS quarterback over the last four games. He's averaging nearly 21 DFS points per week and his price hasn't eclipsed $5,600 since Week 3. In addition, the Titans have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, which makes Roethlisberger a great play here in Week 15.

Johnson has seen at least ten targets in five straight games and has not had a game under 11.4 PPR points this season. So he's about as safe as it gets, especially against a defense that has allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing receivers.

Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence ($5,100) and WR Laqon Treadwell ($3,300)

If there was ever a week to play Trevor Lawrence in DFS, it’s this week. Not only is the matchup juicy against the Texans, but now there is the Urban Meyer revenge factor. Could the offense finally be unlocked without Meyer patrolling the sidelines? That feels likely.

It is worth mentioning that Lawrence scored a career-high 25.08 DFS points in the previous matchup against the Texans. Considering his current price, this feels like another good time to play him. If Lawrence could produce 17-18 DFS points this week, he would far exceed his price tag.

But finding a receiver to stack him with is the bigger issue. The obvious answer is probably Laviska Shenault or Marvin Jones. But the correct pick might be Treadwell. This week, the former first-round pick is only $3,300 and has caught at least four passes in three straight games. In fact, he's gone over 50 yards in three straight and this feels like the week he finally gets into the end zone.

Best NFL Week 15 DFS Team For Sunday’s Games

Pos. Player Matchup DraftKings
Price
QBBen Roethlisberger Titans vs Steelers $5,600
RB Saquon Barkley Cowboys vs Giants $6,500
RB Antonio Gibson Eagles vs Washington $6,000
WR Diontae Johnson Titans vs Steelers $7,500
WR Amari Cooper Cowboys vs Giants $6,400
WR Marvin Jones Jaguars vs Texans $4,600
TE Mike Gesicki Jets vs Dolphins $5,000
FLEX A.J. Green Cardinals vs Lions $4,900
D/ST Packers Packers vs Ravens $3,300

Note: Based on a $50,000 salary cap for the week and for Sunday daytime contests

It’s slim pickings at running back this week during the Sunday afternoon slate. But consider playing Saquon Barkley, who has caught 19 passes over the last four weeks. The Giants are finally using him more in the passing game and without Kadarius Toney this week, don't be surprised if Barkley sees close to double-digit targets against Dallas.

A.J. Green is one of our favorite FLEX plays this week with DeAndre Hopkins out for the rest of the season. With Murray back in the lineup, he's seen a fairly consistent workload in the passing game. Green saw ten targets against the Rams in Week 14 and totaled 102 yards on seven receptions. Look for him to get more red-zone work in this game and to come close to 100 yards once again.
