Best NFL DFS Stacks Week 3

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson ($7,600) and Tyler Lockett ($7,400)

It's hard to find a more efficient and consistent pairing than Russell Wilson and Tyler Lockett. Over the years, the two have lit up defenses down the field. But is this the week that DK Metcalf finally gets going?

The Vikings have one of the league's worst cornerback rooms, but they have Patrick Peterson as one of their outside cornerbacks. He limited Metcalf to just five receptions in two games last season and it wouldn't be a surprise if he did so again. For that reason, we are playing Lockett once again after another tremendous performance in Week 2.

Buccaneers QB Tom Brady ($6,800) and Chris Godwin ($6,100)

Only Kyler Murray and Patrick Mahomes have scored more fantasy points than Tom Brady through the first two weeks of the NFL season. He's thrown nine touchdowns in two games and looks like he has the NFL MVP on his mind.

Tampa Bay will take on the Rams in Week 2, but Brady is likely to be without Antonio Brown. On Wednesday, Brown tested positive for COVID-19 and is likely out this week. That could open up more opportunities for Chris Godwin, who has seen 18 targets already this season. Both players are priced outside of the top five of their position, making them an immense value in Week 3.

Giants QB Daniel Jones ($5,800) and Sterling Shepard ($5,900)

If you are looking for a cheaper QB-WR stack, consider playing Daniel Jones and one of his receivers this week against Atlanta. The Falcons are an outstanding matchup for the Giants and Jones is coming off one of the best games of his career in Week 2. It could have been even better if a long touchdown run wasn't taken off the board due to a soft penalty.

If you do decide to play Jones, pair him with Sterling Shepard. The former Oklahoma receiver has already seen 19 targets through two games, totaling 16 receptions for 207 yards and one touchdown. It’s clear that he and Jones have a connection and that he will continue to be a big part of the offense. At just $5,900, Shepard is someone you have to get into your lineup this week.

In the first week of the season, the Chargers seemed to be limiting Austin Ekeler’s work in the passing game. He did not receive a target as he was battling through a hamstring issue. However, he looked healthier in Week 2 and caught all nine of his targets out of the backfield. He'll now face the Chiefs in Week 3, who have been gashed in the run game over the first two weeks. Don't be surprised if Ekeler sees 20 or more touches in this huge AFC West showdown on Sunday.

Another running back we’re starting in Week 3 is Saquon Barkley. Of course, we knew that the Giants would ease him into a big workload this season, as he saw just 13 touches in Week 1 and 16 in Week 2. But after 10 days off, it wouldn't be a shock to see the Giants fully unleash him in this must-win game against the Falcons. In addition, Barkley is now $1,300 cheaper than he was in Week 1. Now is the time to use him in your lineups in a juicy matchup.

One of our favorite flex plays under $5,000 this week is Marvin Jones. He’s secured 20 targets through the first two weeks of the season for the Jaguars and has now scored two touchdowns. With Laviska Shenault dealing with a shoulder injury, it's reasonable to assume that Jones will continue to see this type of target load in the passing game. On top of the volume, Jacksonville will take on Arizona and their leaky pass defense in Week 3. So find a way to get Jones into your lineups this week.
