Week 4 is always one of my favorite weeks of the NFL season. Finally, we have enough data and evidence to start making reasonable decisions on our sports betting apps and usually, the games are fantastic.

This year, we have an incredible slate of games on Sunday afternoon with totals that could produce a ton of fantasy points. This is a week that should be highly profitable for knowledgeable daily fantasy sports players and NFL betting fans.

So without further ado, let’s get into some of our favorite stacks this week and the most optimal DFS lineup for Week 4.

Best Week 4 Stacks

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts ($6,900) and WR DeVonta Smith ($5,700)

With the Chiefs coming off back-to-back losses, they will look to put up a ton of points in Philadelphia in Week 4. That means that Jalen Hurts could be in for a fantastic week in a shootout game.

This year, Kansas City has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, and Hurts is averaging over 25.4 points per game. However, he isn't even inside the top-five most expensive quarterbacks this week, which makes him a considerable value.

Vikings QB Kirk Cousins ($6,400) and WR Justin Jefferson ($7,300)

Listen. I get it. It’s never fun to play Kirk Cousins in your DFS lineups or in fantasy football. But it’s time to give him some credit. He’s been excellent over the last 14 games, averaging nearly 300 total yards per game.

On top of that, his TD-INT ratio is one of the best in the NFL. He and Justin Jefferson should be in for another big performance in Week 4 as the Browns have several injuries in their secondary.

Jefferson is more expensive than his teammate Adam Thielen, but Jefferson is averaging ten targets per game this season and nearly 14 yards per catch. He should put up WR1 numbers against Cleveland.

Browns QB Baker Mayfield ($6,200) and WR Odell Beckham Jr. ($5,800)

Believe it or not, Mayfield has thrown just two touchdowns this season. That has undoubtedly limited his fantasy ceiling, but he has been highly efficient. He's averaging almost 10 yards per attempt and is completing nearly 74% of his passes.

Week 4 is a good matchup for him as the Browns-Vikings game is projected to be one of the highest-scoring games of the week. And with Odell Beckham now back in the lineup and a game under his belt, he looks like a great value at just $5,800.

RB Chuba Hubbard Panthers at Cowboys $5,900

FLEX Jaylen Waddle Colts at Dolphins$4,900
D/ST49ers Seahawks at 49ers$3,100

Note: Based on a $50,000 salary cap for the week and for Sunday daytime contests

Najee Harris continues to be a free square for DFS players. He is listed under $7,000 again and is a player who just doesn't come off the field for the Steelers. His rushing efficiency isn't good, but he makes up for it in sheer volume.

Harris has had 19 receptions over the last two weeks, making him one of the safest plays in fantasy this week. He will be among the best values at the running back position if he gets into the end zone even once in Week 4.

One player that is likely to be highly owned in DFS this week is Chuba Hubbard. While no one expects him to replace Christian McCaffrey completely, this game sets up well for him. Dallas is coming off a Monday night game and they are extremely thin on the defensive line and at linebacker due to injuries. Hubbard should see 18-20 touches in this game against a defense that can be exposed on the ground. He is an excellent RB2 this week at a very low price.

If you are searching for a cheaper flex play this week, consider inserting Jaylen Waddle into your lineups. Will Fuller is questionable to play this week due to injuries and we already saw Waddle get a ton of targets last week with Jacoby Brissett as his quarterback.

Over the previous two weeks, Waddle has 18 receptions. While the yardage and touchdown totals aren't there yet, this is a good matchup for him this week against a defense that has a ton of injuries in the secondary. Look for Waddle to see double-digit targets again in Week 4.
