NFL Survivor Pools have exploded in popularity, and at levels for all kinds of fans, from family pools to those with thousands of dollars in cash prizes on the line.

The simple nature of it is a major draw for NFL betting fans: Survivor Pools entail picking one team to win each week, but never picking the same team twice. It's not how much your team wins by in a Survivor Pool. Simply, it's about picking a winner and moving on - and sometimes saving the biggest favorite for a future week.

Bookies.com senior handicapper and Survivor Pool veteran Adam Thompson shares his picks each week here, revealing his confident pick that gets you to the next week of your Survivor Pool and puts you in good position for future weeks.

Here is the pick for Week 10. We were perfect on the season until the Cardinals disappointed us last week.

NFL Week 10 Survivor Pick: Green Bay Packers

Jaguars rookie QB Jake Luton made his pro debut last weekend and fared well, passing for 304 yards. D.J. Chark caught seven balls for 146 yards and James Robinson rushed for 99 yards. They still lost – at home – to the Houston Texans, who have two wins on the season. Both victories are against the Jaguars.

Now the Jags come to Lambeau Field to face a hot Packers team that’s scored 30-plus points in all six of their victories. Jacksonville’s defense has allowed 30-plus points in six of eight games.

Jacksonville scored 25 points vs. the Texans, but expect more resistance from a Green Bay team that ranks 12th vs. the run and the pass. On the flip side, the Jaguars rank 27th vs. the run and pass. Aaron Rodgers and Aaron Jones have reason to lick their chops.

It’s been well-documented that Florida teams don’t fare well traveling north for November and December games. The Jaguars fit the bill; they’ve dropped 10 straight when the temperature at kickoff is below 55 degrees. The high in Green Bay on Sunday is 43 with a 60% chance of rain.

Other NFL Week 10 Contenders:

Cleveland Browns: Nick Chubb returns from injury to join Kareem Hunt and re-form the top RB tandem in the league – just in time to face the Texans and their dead-last rush defense.

Pittsburgh Steelers: Pittsburgh came out flat at Dallas last week but still got a win. The Bengals, coming off a bye, haven’t won a lot of games but have been in most.
