NFL Survivor Pools have exploded in popularity, and at levels for all kinds of fans, from family pools to those with thousands of dollars in cash prizes on the line.

The simple nature of it is a major draw for NFL betting fans: Survivor Pools entail picking one team to win each week, but never picking the same team twice.

It's not how much your team wins by in a Survivor Pool. Simply, it's about picking a winner and moving on — and sometimes saving the biggest favorite for a future week.

Here is the pick for Week 11:

NFL Week 11 Survivor Pick: Pittsburgh Steelers

Since rookie QB Jake Luton took over for the injured Gardner Minshew, the Jaguars have been competitive, losing single-score games to the Texans and Packers (a 93-yard punt return TD helped the latter case). But Luton took a huge step back (18-of-35, 169 yards) against a Green Bay team that was missing both starting CBs.

Now Luton faces a Steelers defense that has a 79.2 QB allowed rating this season, just behind the Colts for lowest in the league. The Jags’ run game ranks 26th in production. Jacksonville hasn’t tasted victory since Week 1 and hadn’t lost by a TD or less since Week 2 before its recent “rise” in play. But scoring is going to be tough against Pittsburgh.

The Steelers, meanwhile, are averaging 31.8 ppg since Week 5. More than half of the Jaguars’ opponents have thrown for at least 300 yards. Ben Roethlisberger has one of the league’s top arsenals of pass-catching weapons.

Backing a road team is avoided when possible, but for a team good enough to be talking “16-0” at this stage of the season, losing to one-win Jacksonville is difficult to fathom, regardless of location.

Other Week 11 contenders:

Minnesota Vikings: Minnesota, 3-0 since Dalvin Cook returned from injury, faces a downtrodden Cowboys team.

Cleveland Browns: The Browns have their complete backfield in action and the Eagles are looking bad in every facet.
