It’s must-win time for Geno Smith and the Seattle Seahawks, as they travel to Chicago to face Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears in the Week 17 edition of Thursday Night Football.

The Seahawks (8-7) have dropped two straight and aren’t in control of their own destiny, but can still get into the NFC Playoffs with a win here and a win next week against the Rams (9-6), and a pair of defeats by the Rams, who host the Cardinals this week before the potentially massive showdown in Week 18.

The latest Seahawks vs. Bears NFL Odds have Seattle at -4 on the road, with an Ove/Under of 42 points.

Bookies.com veteran NFL handicapper Adam Thompson – who has hit on a whopping 60.2% of his NFL picks five years running, reveals his plays for TNF Week 17.

Seahawks vs. Bears Betting Predictions

Seahawks vs. Bears Point Spread

Geno Smith has earned the reputation of a better QB on the road, and this year has been no exception. He’s also been a good bet, with Seattle 4-1-1 ATS on the road this season.

We also have a clear chasm in motivation. Seattle is in playoff mode now, while Chicago has dropped nine straight and played far worse since firing head coach Matt Eberflus, losing three in a row each by at least 17 points.

One thing about the downtrodden Bears is they’re covering the spread against teams they should, but not against healthier competition, just 3-6-2 ATS when getting points.

From a matchup standpoint, Geno and the Seahawks pass game should be in line for a big evening. We’ll lay the points with the Seahawks on TNF.

Seahawks vs. Bears Moneyline

Seattle is -210 on the moneyline, meaning it would take a $210 wager to win $100 profit on a Seahawks victory. Chicago is at +180 (wager $100 to win $180 in profit).

The Seahawks have typically fared well against bottom-tier teams like the Bears, and they’ve won four in a row on the road. So if we’re picking a side, it’s on the Seahawks. But the price is a little high. We’ll skip the moneyline in favor of the spread and other action.

Seahawks vs. Bears Over/Under

Seahawks games usually have higher totals than the 42 we’re seeing here. But it’s because the Bears aren’t contributing.

They’ve managed over 20 points just one time during this nine-game skid. Seattle has been more inconsistent, but its last three games have totaled at least 47 points.

But even still, this total appears low. Chicago ranks 26th vs. the run and 20th vs. the pass throughout the season and things have gotten worse lately. Seattle ranks bottom-half in both categories, too, and Williams’ best efforts have come at Soldier Field. We’re a fan of the Over as a secondary play.

Seahawks vs. Bears Top Player Props

Caleb Williams, Under 0.5 Interceptions

Practically even-money odds on the Bears QB to not throw an INT on Monday night? While the Bears are struggling, the rookie signal-caller has not been the problem. During this nine-game losing streak, Williams has not thrown a single INT, which is astonishing. The Seahawks have just one pick over the last three games.

NFL Odds: -105 at DraftKings

Zach Charbonnet, Over 15.5 Rushing Attempts

Kenneth Walker III is back on the shelf due to injury. The last game he started was two weeks ago; he got just eight carries but for 54 yards (6.8 per carry) as Seattle went down quickly and abandoned the rush. In the previous game, in a winning effort, he got the ball 22 times, for 134 yards (6.1). Charbonnet has been productive, and the Bears have had big issues slowing the run. Zach should get fed on TNF.

NFL Odds: -120 at BetMGM
