Week 5 of the NFL season was one of the wildest in recent memory with Deshaun Watson, Aaron Jones, Christian McCaffrey, Will Fuller, Michael Thomas and Amari Cooper all exceeding 40 fantasy points on DraftKings. It was one of the highest-scoring regular-season weeks in DFS, and players likely needed two or three of the players listed above to cash.

Week 6 promises to be another wild week as several intriguing matchups promise to be high-scoring affairs.

Best Week 6 DFS QB

Falcons QB Matt Ryan ($5,900 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Atlanta Falcons at Arizona Cardinals

There are several intriguing quarterback options in Week 6 as Kyler Murray takes on the Falcons, Deshaun Watson plays the Chiefs' porous defense and Lamar Jackson faces the inept Bengals at home. All three are excellent choices, but my favorite play of the week is Matt Ryan at $6,400.

Ryan has thrown for 300 yards in all five games this season with 12 touchdowns. He's scored at least 19.5 points in all five games, exceeding 25 points in three different weeks. Only five quarterbacks are averaging more points per game than Ryan (26.1), and he's only 1.8 points per game behind Patrick Mahomes as the top-scoring DFS quarterback.

Ryan has another favorable matchup this week as the Falcons will take on the Cardinals in Arizona. The Cardinals pass defense has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing passers, allowing 25 or more fantasy points to Matthew Stafford, Lamar Jackson and Kyle Allen. Given how dynamic Atlanta's offense has been this season, Ryan should be in for another big day in Week 6.

Best Week 6 DFS RB

Redskins RB Adrian Peterson ($4,500 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Washington Redskins at Miami Dolphins

Week 6 DFS Picks: Start Ryan at QB, Peterson at RB & More 1

Adrian Peterson hasn't been impressive during the 2019 season. He has just one game of over 30 rushing yards this season and just 40 total rushes. Peterson has scored just one rushing touchdown and has eclipsed double-digit fantasy points only once. However, if there was ever a week to play Peterson in DFS, Week 6 is it.

The Redskins will take on the Dolphins, who have allowed the most fantasy points to opposing running backs. With interim head coach Bill Callahan committed to improving the team's run game, look for Peterson to get a ton of work in Miami.

If he can see anywhere between 12-17 carries, he should be able to produce enough to warrant a spot in your starting lineup. At just the small price of $4,500, he is a worthwhile gamble as an RB2 this week as his low price tag will offer more flexibility at other positions.

Best Week 6 DFS WR

Rams WR Cooper Kupp - ($7,100 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Los Angeles Rams vs San Francisco 49ers

As tempting as it is to stack Ryan with Julio Jones, there is a better play at receiver this week: Cooper Kupp. While the 49ers have Pro Bowl cornerback Richard Sherman on the roster, he is unlikely to travel inside to the slot to cover Kupp. That means Kupp should continue to see a ton of volume (44 targets in the team's last three games) in the potent Rams offense.

Kupp has quickly developed into one of the league's premier receivers, going over 100 receiving yards in four straight contests. With the 49ers-Rams matchup likely to another high-scoring game, look for Kupp to exceed 100 yards once again. Despite his highest-DFS price tag of the season, Kupp is a must-play in Week 6.

Best Week 6 DFS TE

Falcons TE Austin Hooper ($5,000 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Atlanta Falcons at Arizona Cardinals

Week 6 DFS Picks: Start Ryan at QB, Peterson at RB & More 2

If you aren't going to stack Jones with Ryan, then tight end Austin Hooper is a must-play in Week 6. Hooper is one of the most underrated tight ends in DFS, scoring 63.2 fantasy points over the last three weeks. Hooper has seen at least six targets in every game this season, and he has caught at least six passes in four of the team's five games. Hooper's role in the Falcons offense couldn't be more secure as he is Ryan's go-to target in the middle of the field.

Hooper has another favorable matchup this week as the Falcons are set to take on the Cardinals. Given that Arizona has allowed the second-most fantasy points to tight ends this season, Hooper is going to be a popular play in Week 6. He's too good of a value to pass on with this juicy matchup ahead of him.

Best Week 6 DFS Flex

Cowboys WR Michael Gallup ($5,600 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Dallas Cowboys at New York Jets

After returning from a two-week absence due to a knee injury, Michael Gallup found instant success last week. He was targeted 14 times and totaled 113 yards and a touchdown against the Packers. He scored 27.3 points, the most of his short NFL career.

In Week 6, the Cowboys will take on the Jets, who have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing receivers. New York will likely try to take away Amari Cooper, leaving Gallup in favorable one-on-one matchups. Gallup has quickly become one of the most reliable fantasy receivers, catching at least six passes in all three contests this season. Look for Gallup to have another big day against the Jets' lackluster pass defense.
