Undefeated Steelers Announce 1st Gaming Deal with BetMGM
The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday that BetMGM will be the team’s first gaming partner and will become an official sports betting partner of the team once its online sports betting product launches in Pennsylvania later this year.
BetMGM will have full usage of all Steelers marks and logos and will sponsor the Steelers Kickoff pregame show — which will be titled Steelers Kickoff Presented by BetMGM, according to a news release. It will also receive team broadcast programming, digital marketing assets and in-stadium promotions and signage as part of the NFL betting agreement.

“We are excited to introduce BetMGM to Steelers Nation," Ryan Huzjak, Steelers vice president of sales and marketing, said in the news release. "Not only will BetMGM be elevating some of our existing platforms, but they will be introducing new and exciting opportunities to Steelers fans. We are looking forward to kicking off this partnership.”
The Steelers (10-0), currently the only undefeated team in the league, will cap off a tripleheader Thanksgiving Night as they play host to the Baltimore Ravens (6-4). Pittsburgh is listed as a 4-point favorite at BetMGM, the Over-Under is 45.5 points and the Steelers are -189 on the moneyline.
Another key component of the deal includes a “Decade of Black & Gold” sweepstakes, where one grand prize winner at the end of the season will receive two club level season tickets and two VIP Hospitality Tent Passes for 10 years, the release said. In addition, weekly prizes will be awarded, with other entrants winning signed Steelers merchandise. The contest will run through the NFL season.
BetMGM & Pennsylvania
Recently receiving a license to offer online casino and sports betting in Pennsylvania, BetMGM is anticipating going live with casino gaming in the state within the coming weeks, pending regulatory approval.
BetMGM now is partners with six NFL teams: Steelers, Las Vegas Raiders, New York Jets, Detroit Lions, Denver Broncos and Tennessee Titans. It also has partnerships with the NHL’s Las Vegas Golden Knights and Detroit Red Wings and the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces.
“Steelers Nation is one of the most passionate fan bases in professional sports and we're thrilled to bring the excitement of BetMGM to Steelers fans,” Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer for BetMGM, said in the news release. “We're eager to launch BetMGM's gaming offering in Pennsylvania and I can't think of a better way to kick off our entry into the state than through this monumental partnership.”
