Washington Commanders 2025 NFL Draft Odds: Who Will The Commanders Select At 29?

The Washington Commanders were one of the biggest surprises in the NFL during the 2024 season. The Commanders not only made the playoffs as a Wild Card team, but they beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions during the playoffs to advance to the NFC Conference Championship. Although the Commanders lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in that game, there is no shame in losing to the Eagles, who would go on to win the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs.
With second-year quarterback Jayden Daniels under center, and with a terrific head coach in Dan Quinn at the helm of the controls, the Commanders figure to once again have a big season, especially after acquiring former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel in a trade.
The Commanders have pick 29 in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and although it’s unlikely they land a blue-chip prospect with such a late pick, they can still get a solid contributor in the draft. With the draft fast approaching, Bookies.com veteran oddsmaker Adam Thompson has put together NFL odds for who the Commanders may select with pick 29.

Derrick Harmon, DL, Oregon (+450)
The Commanders could use an injection of youth on the defensive line, and Oregon’s Derrick Harmon would be a nice pick for the team if he’s on the board.
Matthew Golden, WR, Texas (+550)
The Commanders have a solid wide receiving core already, but they likely wouldn’t pass up the chance to add Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden if he is available.
Grey Zabel, G/C, N. Dakota St. (+600)
Should the Commanders look to add some youth to their offensive line, then Grey Zabel of North Dakota State, a guard and center, could make sense.

Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan (+1000)

The Field (+1200)
