An interesting matchup in Vegas in Week 13 sees the playoff-chasing Washington Football team coming off a Monday night victory over the sleepy Seattle Seahawks headed to Sin City to take on a Raiders team feeling good after beating the Cowboys on Thanksgiving afternoon.

Washington has hit its stride and made it three wins in a row to take second place in the NFC East behind just the Cowboys, and it has kept its chances of making the playoffs alive, currently sitting as the 7th seed at 5-6.

It’s been a torrid year for the Raiders, but they’re the 9th seed in the AFC with a 6-5 record after an impressive win last week. Due partly to that, the NFL betting experts have them installed at about a field-goal favorite at the best sportsbooks with a total just under 50.

Take a look at Washington vs Raiders odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Washington vs Raiders Key Matchups

What matchups could help you make your NFL picks?

Desean Jackson vs Washington secondary: This Washington defense can be beaten with deep shots, and Jackson is still one of the best in the game at creating big gains/

Raiders pass rush vs Washington O-Line: Maxx Crosby and Yannick Ngakoue have 13 sacks between them this year. They’ll be looking to pressure Taylor Heinicke.

Terry McLaurin vs Raiders secondary: Terry McLaurin is one of the best WRs in the league on a poor team. He puts up numbers every week, so if the Raiders restrict him, they win.

Washington vs Raiders Moneyline

This is a tough one. Washington is one of the hot teams in the league after beating the Bucs, Panthers and Seahawks. At least two of those teams have very good defenses, and they managed to put up points. While we know the Raiders are capable of big plays and can rack up points quickly on anyone.

The addition and settling in of D-Jax is a big thing for the Raiders after they their lost deep threat a month ago. He opens up a lot for the other players, and that’s key for them. I do think the Raiders win and the betting apps are showing the moneyline at -130 with BetMGM. But if you like the Raiders then take them to cover the spread.

Washington vs Raiders Point Spread

Wins and Losses and covering the NFL spread have been correlated with both of these teams this year. In all but one game this season, when the Raiders have won, they’ve covered the spread, and when they’ve lost they haven’t covered. It’s the same for Washington. Essentially if you think a team is going to win then take them to cover the spread in this one. I do think the Raiders win, so I’m taking Las Vegas Raiders at -2.5 with DraftKings.

Washington vs Raiders Totals

Not a lot to go on for the total here. It’s quite high with the betting sites thinking it will get to around 50. Early in the season this would be a guarantee, as the Raiders offense was clicking and the Washington defense was stumbling. But things have changed for both teams in recent weeks, as the Raiders struggled to overcome issues while Washington has tightened that side of the ball. I won’t be backing it, but I would have to lean Under 49.5 with FanDuel.
