The NFL betting regular season ends this weekend with all 32 teams in action playing against divisional opponents. Several games will determine playoff matchups and at least one division remains up for grabs.

Among those teams still chasing playoff spots are the Denver Broncos, Cincinnati Bengals, and Atlanta Falcons. None of those teams made the playoffs last season.

RELATED: Super Bowl 59 Odds

Elsewhere, multiple teams play this week with their playoff fates already secured. The Kansas City Chiefs have clinched the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and the Buffalo Bills are locked into the No. 2 spot.

In the AFC, the Chiefs won the West, the Bills took the East, the Texans won the South. Only the North remains undecided. In the NFC, none of the divisions were mathematically clinched ahead of Week 17. That changed as the Eagles won the East and the Rams won the West.

Let's check out our Week 18 Best Bets to back.

2024 NFL Week 18 Best Bets: Game-By-Game Analysis

Saturday, January 4

Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens, 4:30 p.m. (ABC/ESPN)

Buzz: AFC North Saturday kicks off with the Ravens holding the opportunity to win the AFC North at home with a win over the fully imploded and collapsed Cleveland Browns. This game offers the largest number of the NFL season at 17.5 points. This will be the final game for Kevin Stefanski as Browns head coach, thus the monster number here. The Browns would love a loss here to help them make a push for the No. 1 overall pick given their 3-13 record. But they'll need help from the Patriots. Here, be very wary of the hook on this number. The Browns can ice a cover here with just one score. They have a 94.2% chance to win outright.

Best Bet: Browns +17.5 (-110) FanDuel

Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers, 8 p.m. (ABC/ESPN)

Buzz: The Steelers will know if the AFC North is still a possibility when this game begins. Even without the AFC North on the line, the Steelers can still increase their playoff seed with a win. But the Bengals must win to keep their postseason hopes alive. Their chances to make the playoffs stand at 9.9%. So expect a competitive contest nonetheless, especially given the antipathy shared by these franchises toward one another. The Bengals have won and covered in 4 straight games. The Steelers have lost and failed to cover in 3 straight. Joe Burrow delivers this time.

Best Bet: Bengals -2.5 (-118) FanDuel

Sunday, January 5

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans, 1 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: The Texans are AFC South champions for the second straight season and locked into the No. 4 spot in the AFC. Despite losing 3 of their first 15 games, head coach Brian Callahan and his staff are expected back next season. One of several games being played this weekend for friends and family only.

Best Bet: Under 36.5 Points (-110)  FanDuel

Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons, 1 p.m.  (CBS)

Buzz: While the Panthers remain the doormat of the NFC South at 4-12, they overperformed on the line this season and covered in 7 of their first 15 games. Bryce Young showed signs of marked improvement, as well. Atlanta needs to win this one to have a shot at taking the NFC South (they also need the Bucs to lose). This is the sort of game the Falcons always seem to lose. Maybe they change course this season? But the Panthers are a sneaky good bet here on this number.  And they won't be changing head coaches again this offseason.

Best Bet: Panthers +7.5 (-110) FanDuel

New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles, 1 p.m.  (CBS)

Buzz: The Brian Daboll Erorr comes to an end in Philadelphia. The Giants enjoyed a dominant win over the Colts on Sunday behind Drew Lock. But Big Blue will be angling to draft either Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders and give that QB a coach with whom to work from the ground floor. But the Eagles are locked into the No. 2 spot in the NFC and will take this game as their unofficial bye. The players on the Giants - many of whom will be elsewhere next season - need some more good game film.

Best Bet: Over 38.5 Points (-110) FanDuel

Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots, 1 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: The Bills are locked into the No. 2 seed in the AFC and will take their unofficial bye. Perhaps they'll start Joe Ferguson at QB this week. The Patriots lock up the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft with a loss. The few hearty souls who show up at Gillette Stadium will be root. root. rooting for the road team. And whatever version of it opts to attend.

Best Bet: Under 41 Points (-110) FanDuel

Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: Commanders QB Jayden Daniels finishes a stellar rookie regular season with his team clinching a playoff spot by beating Washington 30-24 in OT Sunday. Washington is still fighting for playoff seeding here. In one season, he's become the QB that Cowboys fans have longed for since the days of Troy Aikman to Michael Irving. With Jerry Jones promising to keep Mike McCarthy as his head coach next season and Bill Belichick writing NIL checks in Chapel Hill, it appears there won't be any "Black Monday" drama in Big D this season.

Best Bet: Commanders -3 (-110) FanDuel

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m.  (FOX)

Buzz: Baker Mayfield and the Bucs have covered in 6 of their past 8 games. Tampa Bay clinches its 3rd straight NFC South title with a home win here. The Saints are going nowhere - except maybe to the beach after this game. Interim Saints head coach Darren Rizzi is a goner. The Saints have scored just 29 points in their past 3 games. This one has 27-7 written all over it.

Best Bet: Under 44 Points (-110) DraftKings

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: We're looking at temperatures in the high-teens and the possibility of snow. What better way to close out the regular season in Green Bay? The Packers are in the playoffs but need a win here to keep pace with Washington in the battle for seeding in the No. 6 and No. 7 spot. The loser of the Vikings-Lions game Sunday night gets the No. 5 seed as the top NFC wildcard. This will be the swan song for Bears interim head coach Thomas Brown - who has lost 4 straight since taking over for Matt Eberflus and his last time out. No reason for Caleb Williams to start producing points now.

Best Bet: Packers -9.5 (-110) FanDuel

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: Doug Pederson's final game as coach of the Jaguars. The Colts should show up for Shane Steichen, especially after Sunday's embarrassing and playoff-eliminating loss to the Giants.

Best Bet: Colts -5.5 (-105) FanDuel

Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams, 4:25 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: The Seahawks were eliminated from the playoffs Sunday night by virtue of the Commanders beating the Falcons. That outcome also elevated the Rams into the top spot in the division due to the strength of the tiebreaker. The Rams began the season 1-4 before winning 9 of 11. The Rams are on a roll against the spread, as well, having covered in 5 of 7 games. The Rams still have a shot at the No. 3 seed in the NFC with a win and a Tampa Bay loss.

Best Bet: Rams +2.5 (-105) FanDuel

Miami Dolphins at New York Jets, 4:25 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: The Dolphins need a win to get the final playoff spot in the AFC - along with some help. Their chances stand at 25%. But they'll still be alive at kickoff. Meanwhile, the Jets have been emotionally eliminated from winning the Super Bowl since 1969. The bags will be out in abundance in what could well be the final game wearing the Gang Green colors for both Aaron Rodgers and Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich. Any team that needs to beat the Jets to stay alive in the playoff chance and cannot beat the Jets - simply doesn't deserve a playoff spot. Tua Tagovailoa missed the Dolphins Week 17 win with a hip injury. But Tyler Huntley got the job done in a 20-3 win over Cleveland.

Best Bet: Dolphins -2.5 (-110) FanDuel

Los Angeles Chargers at Las Vegas Raiders, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: First-year Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh turned Justin Herbert into a playoff QB in just one season coaching the Bolts. Speaking of head coaches, expect Antonio Pierce to get his Pink Slip on or before Black Monday. The Chargers (10-6 SU and ATS) clinched their playoff berth Saturday with a 40-7 win over the Patriots.

Best Bet: Chargers -5.5 (-120) FanDuel

San Francisco 49ers at Arizona Cardinals, 4:25 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: Both coaches are secure in their employment for next season. This should be a competitive game despite its otherwise-meaningless status. The 49ers were decimated by injuries and became the latest victim of the NFL's "Post-Super Bowl Loss" hangovers. The Cardinals never quite got it going this season in a division that was up for grabs until this past weekend. Arizona overperformed on the line, going 10-6 despite a 7-9 record. They should win this one outright.

Best Bet: Cardinals +1.5 (-115) DraftKings

Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: This is a win-and-in game for the Broncos. They also get that last AFC playoff spot if the Dolphins and Bengals both lose. But the Dolphins are also playing in this time slot. Denver is 11-5 ATS this season, best in the AFC. The Chiefs iced home field in the AFC at 15-1 but never scored more than 31 points in a game this season. Their scrubs might have issues getting to double-digits. They were also terrible on the line and at one point this season did not cover for 7 straight weeks. They are 8-8 ATS after 16 weeks. This week, they may well go with Trent Green at QB given that this game has zero bearing on their playoff standing. Patrick Mahomes and most of KC's big-names will be taking an unofficial bye this week.

Best Bet: Broncos -8.5 (-110) DraftKings

Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions, 8:20 p.m. (NBC)

Buzz: The final game of the NFL regular season will determine the NFC North champion and the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Funny how that worked out. Vikings QB Sam Darnold may have single-handedly erased the "Curse of the Ex-Jet" this season. Taking over for presumptive starter and rookie J.J. McCarthy after McCarthy's injury in the preseason, Darnold coolly put the Vikings in striking range in the NFC North despite the dominance of the Lions this season. He and the Vikings are tops against the spread in the NFL this season at 11-4-1. The Lions have been decimated by injuries but have only lost to Buffalo since Week 2. They failed to cover in 4 of 5 games before Week 16. Their Monday night game holds no bearing on the Sunday storyline. The Lions won 31-29 on a last-second kick when these teams met in October.

Best Bet: Vikings +2.5 (-102) FanDuel
