The 2019 Wimbledon Championships presents the third Major tournament of the season, as the men’s side of the draw began the qualifying rounds earlier this week.

Novak Djokovic leads the big board this year coming in as the clear favorite, as a +140 is attached to the Serbian’s action to win the event ahead of Roger Federer.

Feds appears at +333 just ahead of Rafa (+550), who just earned his 12th French Open title at the most recent Major at Roland Garros.

Roger has already picked up a grass court tournament win this season after taking the Halle Open in Germany tuning up for Wimbledon. He also leads the favored trio with 8 wins in London in comparison to four titles for the Djoker ahead of the two trophies won by Nadal.

But besides those big fish, who are some other names tennis betting fans can consider backing?

Wimbledon 2019 Men's Odds

PlayerOdds
Novak Djokovic+140
Roger Federer+333
Rafael Nadal+550
Stefanos Tsitsipas+1900
Felix Auger Aliassime+3300
Dominic Thiem+3300
Alexander Zverev+3300
Wimbledon 2019 Betting: Longshot Khachanov for Men’s Title 1
Alexander Zverev is a dark-horse candidate for Wimbledon.

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev are your next best options on the board at +1900 and +3300, respectively. Tsitsipas has no major titles to his credit, with his best finish coming this season in Australia when he reached the semifinals.

The 20-year old Greece native has, however, won three titles on tour and will be listed as the No. 7 seed behind right behind Zverev, sitting at No. 6.

Well, with all that in mind, there are a couple of things to think about when putting your action down. First of all, if you think Novak, Roger, or Rafa will win you can just take them outright with more value.

Secondly, finding a longshot to provide some upsets might just be the way to go this year, and I believe we have found our guy.

Khachanov Could Overperform Despite Long Odds

Karen Khachanov is listed at a, excuse my British … bloody outrageous +10000!

The Russian is seeded 10th in the event and 9th in the World Rankings, and he can provide that Cinderella story that could propel him to his first Major title.

So, with a surprise call fading all the big favorites, the Russian Khachanov is the bold call being made at Wimbledon in 2019.
