Best English Premier League Bets to Back This Week
The Premier League swings back into action this week after the international break and there are some interesting games to get our betting teeth into. There is no break now for another month so we can fully focus on the Premier League action again after an exciting opening four rounds of games.
We were just one goal away from landing a clean sweep from our four picks in our Week 4 Best EPL Bets and we are aiming to go one better this time around.
With that in mind, on to our picks:

PICK 1: Jamie Vardy Anytime Scorer v Manchester United
Harry Maguire comes up against former club Leicester City for the first time since his record breaking move to Manchester United, but I am looking at his old team-mate Jamie Vardy to cause him problems at Old Trafford.
Vardy will come into this game fresh after a two-week break following his retirement from international and he will relish the chance to get one over his former Leicester colleague. Vardy has scored three goals in his last two Premier League games so he comes into this game in a rich-vein of form.
Add into the mix Vardy's incredible record against the top six during the last few seasons - he has scored five times previously against United -and United's failure to keep a clean sheet in their last three games I believe he can get on the scoresheet at Old Trafford at a decent price as well.
PICK 2: Wolves vs. Chelsea Draw & Both Teams Score
I expect a close encounter when Wolves welcome Chelsea to Molineux as both sides have made indifferent starts to the new Premier League campaign. Wolves have yet to win so far in the league with three draws and one defeat last time out against Everton as they try to juggle the demands of league action and European football.
Chelsea under new manager Frank Lampard have only secured one win from their opening four games and threw away a two-goal lead last time out to draw 2-2 at home to Sheffield United. Chelsea are very much a work in progress under Lampard and it will take time for him to get things right at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea have conceded nine goals already this season, while Wolves have only kept one clean sheet and with that in mind I think both teams to score and the draw looks the best value bet to me in this game.
Pick 3 Sheffield United Wins & Both Teams Score
Premier League new boys Sheffield United have really impressed me so far this season and I think they have been underestimated in some quarters ahead of their clash with Southampton. The Blades have picked up five points from their opening four games and their attacking style of football has caught a lot of their opponents by surprise.
I think their home clash with Southampton will be a really open, entertaining game of football as Chris Wilder likes his side to impose themselves on their opponents. Southampton have improved in recent weeks after a slow start to the season and they will have been encouraged by their draw against Manchester United prior to the international break.
Sheffield United have scored in every game so far this campaign and I expect that trend to continue as well as Sheffield United taking all three points. With that in mind Sheffield United and both teams to score looks great value to me.
PICK 4: Norwich vs. City Goal Scored in First 15 minutes
Manchester City are notoriously fast starters in games under Pep Guardiola and I think they can get off to another flying start against Norwich. The Premier League champions like to come flying out of the blocks and gain early control against whoever they play.
Free-scoring City have been leading twice after just 15 minutes in their last two games against Bournemouth and Brighton and I think they can find a way past Norwich in the early exchanges. Norwich have conceded within the opening 15 minutes to Liverpool and Chelsea already this season and I expect that to continue when they lock horns with City's star-studded attack.
Unfortunately for Norwich they are also dealing with a number of defensive injury problems and they can expect no sympathy from a rampant Manchester City side who just love to score goals having netted 14 goals in their opening four games.
It's a bit of struggle when trying to find some value bets in Manchester City games. Betting the first goal within 15 minutes gives you some fair value on a team that can be hard to bet on.
