Robert MacIntyre Masters Odds 2026: Scottish Hope Rests on Bob

Robert MacIntyre (SCO) tee?s off at the third during the first round at the Old Course, St An

Robert MacIntyre will make his fourth appearance at Augusta when lining up in the 2026 Masters. The 29-year-old missed the cut a year ago despite being a reasonable price at most betting apps. This came after he failed to qualify for the 2023 and 2024 renewals. However, there were previously bright performances at the Georgia course, with the Scot’s debut seeing him record a tied-12th finish in 2021. And a year later he made the cut again to tie for 23rd.

At the age of just 29, the Oban-born player clearly has scope for improvement, and his 2025 season included some bright major performances. Indeed, after failing to make the cut at Augusta, MacIntyre then tied 47th in the PGA Championship before a second-placed finish at the US Open. This is his best major effort to date, and he was also in the top 10 at the 2025 Open Championship, so will certainly be one to watch at betting sites.

Each-way tip: Most UK bookmakers offer 1/4 odds across 5 places for the Masters. At 40/1, an each-way bet returns your place stake at 10/1 – excellent value given some of MacIntyre’s previous finishes. For maximum coverage, Bet365’s Each-Way Extra at 30/1 pays out across 10 places.

Will MacIntyre Be Bob On at Augusta?

Bob MacIntyre is Scotland’s best chance of winning the 2026 Masters, and his form this year has been strong. The Ryder Cup winner has made the cut in all six tournaments this year, with a strong display in the Sony Open kicking things off in January. A final round of 63 saw Bob tie for fourth place and land some big returns in terms of both ranking points and prize money.

There were then solid T38 and T37 finishes at The American Express and Pebble Beach, respectively. Better was to come at The Genesis Invitational, though, when MacIntyre recovered from a first round 73 to card a 69, 66 and 67 to tie for 20th. At the Arnold Palmer, MacIntyre once again made the cut and tied in 24th place to prove his consistency on big stages.

Then came a superlative effort at The Players Championship. After modest rounds of 72 to ensure his continued participation, cards of 65 and 69 enabled MacIntyre to finish in fourth place. It came a year after finishing ninth on the same course, with this sure to provide the Scot with a real confidence boost for his 2026 Masters preparation.

MacIntyre No Stranger to Winning

The McNeese State University graduate has enjoyed six professional wins in his career to date, with a real purple patch coming in the summer of 2024 when he landed the RBC Canadian Open and Genesis Scottish Open in quick succession. On both occasions, MacIntyre held his nerve to fend off the chasing pack by one stroke.

A more recent victory came last year in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. This was an early October triumph - just a couple of weeks after helping Europe to Ryder Cup success - in a tournament that had an enforced shortened format. MacIntyre was a conclusive winner on that occasion, recording a four-stroke victory and once again outlining his future major winner credentials.

The left-hander will certainly not be bothered if the conditions at Augusta are testing. Many of his best efforts have come when the wind is blowing, with the Scot seemingly capable of adapting better to adverse weather than most of his counterparts - which is maybe no surprise given he is Scottish! The fourth-placed finish at Sawgrass means the Top 10 market for the 2026 Masters might pique plenty of interest.

Could MacIntyre be First Scottish Winner Since 1988?

It’s a big plus that MacIntyre is in the top 10 for putting on the PGA Tour right now, and it’s rare that his driving capabilities are ever brought into question. The past few 2026 events suggest that his iron play is also on a good level, and it’s clear the Scot has a chief focus for landing that elusive first major.

MacIntyre has admitted a Scottish Open success was his original quest and that has now been achieved. That recent near-miss in The Players Championship will have given him some key learnings should Bob find himself in Masters contention on the final day. Don’t be surprised if he’s featuring prominently on the leaderboard at Augusta this year, justifying his odds at golf betting sites.
