Manchester City have breezed into the Champions League last 16 and they were able to record six successive wins in Group G. There were six different players on the scoresheet including a rejuvenated Kai Havertz, with no team wanting to clash with a Gunners side who have been able to overcome Manchester City in a Premier League clash at the Emirates this term. 

Arsenal certainly have the squad to go deep in this competition, with the team averaging three goals per group game and they are also looking defensively solid, with David Raya continuing to be preferred over Aaron Ramsdale in goal.

Barcelona Regarded as Champions League Outsiders

Paris Saint-Germain were the favourites to win Group F after being drawn with Borussia Dortmund, Milan and Newcastle United, although Luis Enrique's side were somewhat fortunate to qualify for the last sixteen stage after recording two wins, two draws and two defeats.

PSG were grateful to Warren Zaïre-Emery for an equaliser in the final group game at the Westfalenstadion, with the seventeen-year-old's goal helping the French champions to finish above Milan on a head-to-head record. However, they now face a difficult last sixteen encounter for the second campaign in a row.

Last term, it was Porto who were able to edge them into a runner-up spot which ultimately saw them crash out at the hands of Bayern Munich. They could end up meeting the same opponent this time around, with Manchester City, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona other potential opponents.
