The Epsom Derby takes place this Saturday at 1:30pm – a much earlier timeslot than we’re used to. The decision was made to move the off time to avoid a clash with another derby – Manchester City vs. Manchester Utd in the FA Cup final.

Epsom Derby Tips
Irish trainer Aidan O’Brien currently holds the record for most Epsom Derby wins, with eight. He sends three to Epsom this year, with the clear first choice for the yard being Auguste Rodin. He was favourite for the 2,000 Guineas last month but ran no sort of race, finishing 12th of 14. He suffered early interference that day and is expected to run a much better race in the Derby, given a trouble-free run.
