Not a huge amount can be read into the odds at this very early stage, given the season is only in its infancy, but it's worth noting that the first casualty last year came in early September when Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked by Nottingham Forest.

The current favourite to leave first is Hull City manager Sergej Jakirovic. Little is expected of the Tigers this season, as evidenced by the fact they have the shortest Premier League relegation odds, and Jakirovic has probably garnered more than enough goodwill to survive even a terrible start considering he led the team to promotion in his first season.

Elsewhere, the challenge for European spots puts the pressure on managers to perform, which could leave some vulnerable when searching the odds at the best new betting sites.

Indeed, last season saw Ruben Amorim depart Manchester United and Enzo Maresca leave Chelsea within a few days of each other in January, with the latter's replacement - Liam Rosenior - not doing enough to even see out the season. Two Promoted Managers Amongst Favourites

Trustly betting sites believe a couple of managers could be in a spot of bother if their teams don't start the season well. As has already been mentioned, Sergej Jakirovic is the current favourite but may be granted plenty of tether by the Hull board after his exploits last season.

Second-favourite, Gary O'Neil, may get less time if things go downhill quickly. The former Bournemouth and Wolves manager took over at Ipswich in June when Kieran McKenna announced he was taking a break. Even though he is new to his role, there will be expectations that the club don't suffer relegation.

A poor first couple of months in charge could see the Tractor Boys part ways with O'Neil as they seek to avoid an immediate return to the Championship, as happened in 2024/25 when they last graced the Premier League.

Inexperienced Arbeloa and Jaissle Under Pressure

Most £5 deposit betting sites have a pair of fairly inexperienced managers near the top of the betting market, at least to begin with. Those are Alvaro Arbeloa and Matthias Jaissle.

Arbeloa took the vacant Fulham job this summer after a brief yet inauspicious tenure at Real Madrid. Having worked his way up through various coaching roles at Real, the former right-back has just that five-month spell of high-level football management under his belt. Expectations won't be through the roof at Fulham, considering Marco Silva's best finish there was 10th, but any sign of going through a relegation battle could spell the end for Arbeloa.

Jaissle, too, is worth keeping an eye on. Though he has more experience than Arbeloa, he doesn't have any in the Premier League, and the bulk of his managerial work came at Al-Ahil in the Saudi Pro League.

That's not to say he can't do great things in England, of course, but it's been a testing summer for Newcastle after selling Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali and captain Bruno Guimaraes. Whilst an immediate return to the Champions League is unlikely to be a must for the board, any indication that Jaissle isn't cut out for the Premier League could result in change.

Big Changes for the Big Six
