Every Premier League season brings new opportunities to win some money with the best football betting sites, and typically one of the most volatile betting markets is the next Premier League manager to leave their club. In any given season, there can be upwards of 10 teams making changes to their manager during the campaign, which makes it a valuable market for those using their favourite betting apps.

It's already been a summer of change with no fewer than nine clubs going into the new season with a different manager at the helm, including the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Newcastle.

Last season saw 11 managers lose their jobs and the previous campaign saw seven depart, so it's probably safe to say that there will be plenty more during this term as well. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled on this page at Bookies.com for the latest odds from top UK betting sites on who could be the next manager to leave.

The first to leave looks set to be Michael Carrick. He was only appointed permanently to Manchester United this summer after an impressive spell as interim manager last season, but things have unravelled quickly. The Red Devils have only won two of their 12 games this season and the manner of recent three-goal defeats to Como and Bournemouth, along with Bruno Fernandes publicly questioning Carrick's tactics, has put the manager on the brink.

Another man who is also reeling is Pierre Sage. Crystal Palace haven't started the season horrifically, with seven points from eight games, but they've shipped 19 goals in the Premier League so far. Reports suggest another change could be in the offing soon, especially after a 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle made it just one win in seven in all competitions.

Not a huge amount can be read into the odds at this very early stage, given the season is only in its infancy, but it's worth noting that the first casualty last year came in early September when Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked by Nottingham Forest.

It's not just the bottom of the table that needs to be looked at either. The challenge for European spots puts the pressure on managers to perform, which could leave some vulnerable when searching the odds at the best new betting sites.

Indeed, last season saw Ruben Amorim depart Manchester United and Enzo Maresca leave Chelsea within a few days of each other in January, with the latter's replacement - Liam Rosenior - not doing enough to even see out the season. In fact, given Chelsea's penchant for hiring and firing, Xabi Alonso may be one to keep an eye on if the Blues don't exhibit enough stability on the pitch in the first few months.

The best Apple Pay betting sites continue to price up the markets to see who they think will be in trouble throughout the season.

Two Promoted Managers Opened as Favourites

Trustly betting sites believed a couple of managers could be in a spot of bother if their teams didn't start the season well. Sergej Jakirovic was the initial favourite but Hull's start to the campaign meant his odds got longer fast.

The second-favourite was Gary O'Neil and whilst he may get less time if things go downhill quickly, Ipswich find themselves on midtable after seven games. The former Bournemouth and Wolves manager took over in June when Kieran McKenna announced he was taking a break and even though he is new to his role, there will be expectations that the club don't suffer relegation.

Inexperienced Arbeloa and Sage Under Pressure

Most £5 deposit betting sites have a pair of fairly inexperienced managers near the top of the betting market, at least to begin with. Those are Alvaro Arbeloa and Pierre Sage.

Arbeloa took the vacant Fulham job this summer after a brief yet inauspicious tenure at Real Madrid. Having worked his way up through various coaching roles at Real, the former right-back has just that five-month spell of high-level football management under his belt. Expectations won't be through the roof at Fulham, considering Marco Silva's best finish there was 10th, but five points from seven games wasn't exactly the start that the Cottagers had in mind.

Sage, too, is worth keeping an eye on. Though he has more experience than Arbeloa, he doesn't have any in the Premier League and had managed little over 100 professional games prior to this season.

That's not to say he can't do great things in England, of course, but it's been a testing summer for Crystal Palace after selling Maxence Lacroix and Daniel Munoz and Sage's attacking style of football has led to large defensive holes.

Big Changes for the Big Six

Many operators on our list of best betting sites focus on the clubs nearer the bottom of the Premier League when coming up with this particular betting market, but the "Big Six" clubs have shown that anything is possible.

We know that Chelsea haven't been shy to chop and change managers since Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital took over the running of the club, whilst Tottenham went through three managers last season. Roberto De Zerbi finally claimed his first league win of the season at the seventh attempt, hauling Spurs out of the relegation zone, but he still remains under scrutiny.

Manchester United replaced Ruben Amorim with Michael Carrick in January last term, and the latter is already under massive pressure in his first full season in permanent charge.

Both Liverpool and Man City go into this season with new managers as well. The Reds let Arne Slot go after a near-disastrous second campaign, replacing him with ex-Bournemouth man Andoni Iraola, whilst Enzo Maresca has taken charge at the Etihad Stadium following Pep Guardiola's decision to stand down after 10 years in charge.
