It is tough to know what to make of A Taste Of Glory’s previous form. Was well held on debut before stepping up in a Class 2 and finishing a respectable fourth. Then went an won on turf at Brighton in a Class 5 before being placed in a Group 1. Understandably finished last of the 10 at Saint-Cloud, but if connections thought he was good enough to start in a Group 1, a Class 4 back at Lingfield should be well within reach.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
