Tip 2 - 3:00 Kempton - Rukaana
Rukaana appeared to be on the up when last seen in January, winning convincingly at Windsor and following it up with a narrow defeat at Catterick. Now rated 100, connections have opted to have him carry top weight here as opposed to stepping up in class. Against this fairly weak field, he could be hard to beat for a yard that landed two handicaps at the Cheltenham Festival.

Tip 4 - 4:05 Kempton - Gustavian
This is a race packed with veterans, and it is one of the three 11-year-olds we plump for in Gustavian. This is a considerable drop in class from much of his work this season, which started with a dominant Grade 3 win at Wincanton. Was last seen over course and distance finishing a really strong fourth when off at 66/1 in Graded company once again. Back in much calmer waters of a Class 3, he has enough to defy top weight to win here.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
