Tip 1 - 1:50 Doncaster - Spycatcher

Tip 2 - 3:32 Doncaster - Rogue Diplomat
Rogue Diplomat signed off last season by landing a four-timer. All four wins were by less than a length having come from off the pace, meaning his rating hasn’t shot up as it might have. Despite all of those wins coming over seven furlongs, he’s bred to appreciate this extra distance. He may well be the Group horse in a handicap that often lands the Lincoln, and he’ll be looking to score on his third straight visit to Doncaster.

Tip 3 - 3:52 Kempton - Eskimo Pie
This one has all the hallmarks of being a tight affair, and it’s Eskimo Pie who gets the nod. Though she’s not been seen for 245 days, only one runner of the six has raced in the last 100, so they’ll all be working to shake off some cobwebs. The attraction of the three-year-old is that she ran very well last season despite not winning, going 2378 but she was right in the mix in those last two despite eventually tailing away in the final furlong. Three of those outings were Group races, so even the extra distance compared to those shouldn’t be an issue here.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
