Tip 1 - 2:40 Gowran Park - Aurora Mist

Tip 2 - 3:05 Fontwell - Tigga Time
This race looks far more wide open than the market suggests and for that reason it’s worth looking near the bottom in the shape of Tigga Time, who has only run once this calendar year. That was a disappointing ninth but he showed at the tail end of 2025 he is far more capable, first winning at Huntingdon before following that up with a seventh on the same course where he finished only 3.5l behind the winner. If he can rediscover that form, his price might suddenly look very generous.

Tip 3 - 4:33 Catterick - Gastronomy

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
