Our Staking Plan
Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.
Do be aware that betting on horse racing is difficult to win consistently, that’s why we only use the best analysts and tipsters in the UK and Ireland to give their advice on this page. Previous performance is no guarantee of future success and you should only bet with what you can afford to lose.

Tip 1 - 1:20 Sandown - Kikijo
Kikijo defied 11/2 odds to win a Class 2 3m handicap hurdle at Cheltenham three weeks ago and looks worthy of backing to repeat the feat at Sandown. The lightly-raced five-year-old has made solid progress in 2025, going 1241, and although his rating has gone up from 120 to 127, Callum Pritchard claims 3lb back, which could prove to be crucial.

Tip 2 - 2:40 Aintree - Gaboriot
Gaboriot looks like he has been laid out for this race judging by his preparation. A horse who much prefers an extended trip, running a fine race over shorter before a big handicap always catches your eye. Particularly as this is something that has worked in the past. Having a spin over a trip less than three miles before winning over further. Not only that, but he’s in here off 2lb lighter than his last winning mark.

Tip 3 - 3:00 Sandown - Jonbon
For the first time in seven runs, Jonbon won’t be odds on. That’s partly down to him finishing 15 lengths behind the opposing L’eau Du Sud last time out, and partly because of Il Etait Temps’ presence.
His defeat last month came at Cheltenham, marking the sixth time he’s been beaten in his career and the fifth time at the famous Gloucestershire course. Sandown is very much more to his liking, though. He’s aiming to win at this meeting for the fourth consecutive year, claiming what would be a third Tingle Creek. Nicky Henderson is adamant we’ll see a different Jonbon on Saturday, and, at the odds, it’s worth banking on him being right.

Tip 4 - 3:15 Aintree - Bear Market
Bear Market has taken to pretty much any challenge he has faced thus far, and the hope is he can do it again in a higher class race than he has seen before. Winner last time out at Southwell for a second win over hurdles from four attempts. Has won on previous two trips to Aintree with the bumper win in May last year particularly encouraging, as he headed Miami Magic, a 139-rated chaser. Is in this with just over 10st on his back and can use that weight advantage to ensure a third win over hurdles and at Aintree.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
Where Can I Watch the Daily Horse Racing Selections Run?
The best place is always on the racecourse but that’s not very practical so when it’s not on terrestrial TV with the likes of Sky Sports Racing and ITV (or ITV 4) then the best way to get instant access to live pictures is with a live streaming bookmaker – try these three below for the best of the bunch. We've also got a page specifically dedicated to Cheltenham Festival live streaming.
