Our Staking Plan
Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.
Do be aware that betting on horse racing is difficult to win consistently, that’s why we only use the best analysts and tipsters in the UK and Ireland to give their advice on this page. Previous performance is no guarantee of future success and you should only bet with what you can afford to lose.
Tip 1 - 12:55 Aintree - Katate Dori
Katate Dori hasn’t been seen since pulling up at Cheltenham in March but he showed more than enough at the start of the year to be considered on his return. His final run before Cheltenham was a Group 3 win over 3m by a stunning 15 lengths, which was his third win in four outings after victories at Exeter and Chepstow in January. He drops 5lb for this move to hurdles but if that chase form transfers, the seven-year-old should be a major player.

Tip 2 - 1:25 Doncaster - Apollo One
Apollo One was desperately unlucky in an Ascot Group 3 last time out. Travelling strongly, he flew home after finding trouble in running, but went down by a short head. That was his seventh runner up finish in his last 20 runs and brought his career tally to 11 silver medals from 40. Trip and ground both look spot on for him on Saturday and, granted a clear passage, he looks sure to go close.

Tip 3 - 2:40 Aintree - Excello
The youngest horse in the race and has only run eight times over fences, there is a lot more to come from Excello. He seemed to enjoy the National fences in the Topham, but he raced out the back that day, something which always leaves a horse with too much to do in that race as the front runners never really come back. The mistake he made was down to needing to make a mid-race move, and should he run closer to the pace in this he is a real danger.

Tip 4 - 3:10 Doncaster – Perfect Your Craft
Stamina appears to be the name of the game for this race, with soft or maybe even heavy ground expected. Danielle has certainly raced in the higher class contests but still can’t get over the line, so we side with a much more unexposed sort in Perfect Your Craft. Won on heavy ground on debut and last time out was a victor over 1m4f, so the testing ground over 1m2f should be perfect.

More Information on Our Free Daily Horse Racing Tips
Each and every day on Bookies.com we provide a minimum of 3 highly researched and carefully selected tips for the UK and Irish daily racing from our team of experts.
This daily racing tips page is updated at approximately 9.30am each morning and each selection will come with concise reasoning, key data to support the advice and a quick guide as to how the horse is expected to run and what to look out for when it comes to the race itself.
We pride ourselves on value when considering our horse racing betting advice, on Bookies.com we give you direct access to all the leading betting operators to see the market movements, daily odds at horse racing betting sites for all meetings and of course their exclusive free bet offers.
What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?
We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundreds and hundreds of tips this year.
What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
Where Can I Watch the Daily Horse Racing Selections Run?
The best place is always on the racecourse but that’s not very practical so when it’s not on terrestrial TV with the likes of Sky Sports Racing and ITV (or ITV 4) then the best way to get instant access to live pictures is with a live streaming bookmaker – try these three below for the best of the bunch. We've also got a page specifically dedicated to Cheltenham Festival live streaming.
Can I Get Notified When the Daily Racing Tips Go Live?
Best way to get to the tips first is to follow our Twitter page and turn on notifications! You can find us here on Twitter.
