Tip 1 - 1:28 Ffos Las - Lon Chaney
This is the first outing under rules for a Walk In The Park gelding who was beaten in a point-to-point by a horse who has subsequently won a bumper in fine style. He was a costly purchase, is running for the in-form Olly Murphy and has Sean Bowen booked to ride, everything looks lined up for a successful debut.

Tip 2 - 2:20 Leicester - Spartacus Warrior
Spartacus Warrior is the most exposed runner in the field, having had seven career starts. With just one placed effort to his name, it’s clear he’s no superstar, but this looks a particularly weak race. He finished sixth, beaten under two lengths last time out. In the process, he showed that this trip should be ideal and that he’ll handle give in the ground, which are questions the majority of his rivals have to answer, for all that they have a lot more scope for improvement.

Tip 3 - 2:40 Catterick - Ahamoment
Ahamoment could scarcely be in better form right now with a run of 323114 going back to August and looks to have an excellent chance of adding yet another victory to that. His two wins earlier this month came on soft ground and heavy ground respectively, so today’s soft shouldn’t bother him, and a fourth over course and distance 10 days ago will likely be improved upon after stepping down in grade today.

Tip 4 - 3:28 Ffos Las - Donnacha
The trainer’s record this jumps season doesn’t inspire confidence, but Donnacha could buck that trend today. Making return from a long layoff but has had no issues going well fresh before and should continue upwards trajectory. Was a handy winner of two in a row early in the year and appears to relish the bite in the ground. The trainer has made the long trip from Devon for this one entry today, so you’d like to think there is some confidence there.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?
We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundreds and hundreds of tips this year.
What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
