Each selection is advised as a single bet, and at a straight £10 win single per horse, unless otherwise stated.

Tip 1 - 2:10 Ayr - Brayhill

Typically, a horse making a first appearance for 10 months would be best on their second running, but that isn’t the case with Brayhill, whose last two wins have come on first runs back from 334-day and 359-day breaks from two pounds and four pounds higher than today, respectively. Trainer James Ewert has had four horses placed in his last six runners, including a winner. Brayhill has won higher graded races the last two times and should find 0-115 company very much to his liking.

Tip 2 - 2:55 Lingfield - Havaila

Harry Cobden rode Havaila to a C&D win two weeks ago and he boards him again in good stead for a repeat result despite a step up in grade and a 4lb rise as he looks to add to strong form figures of 433531 dating back to October. The six-year-old won a Class 3 race this time last year and his mark of 106 today is 2lb below that victory.

Tip 3 - 4:02 Lingfield - Johnny Jump Up

The majority of this field tends to struggle with jumping, with recent form littered with errors pretty much across the board. Despite unseating his rider at the 12th last time out at Warwick, Johnny Jump Up had impressed with his jumping up to that point, on what was his chase debut. Considering how unexposed he is over the larger obstacles compared to his rivals, he looks overpriced and is the value call.

What Are the Average Advised Odds of Our Tips?

We tip a minimum of 3 horses per day across the UK and Irish racing and the average starting price of our selections is a remarkable 4/1 over hundred and hundreds of tips this year.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
