Tip 3 - 4:10 Newton Abbott - Kom Tu Voudras

Has shown some promise since switching from the mighty Willie Mullins yard in February this year. Hadn’t won a race prior to that but now has three victories, to go with another couple of second places this year. Was second last time out over course and distance and looks to have enough to be able to win from a mark of 115. Favourite has never won and racing for first time since April, so this could be a decent value pick.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
